The best drummer around. From 1972 with Ralphe Armstrong in the New McGuire Sisters to Mahavishnu Orchestra, Weather Report. Used to sit 6 feet away from his drums in their warehouse in Miami and 43 years later my ears are still ringing.
This guy is awesome! You would think that being so hugely successful he would be a very forceful personality. What amazes me, is how very softly spoken he is. I suppose he is used to dealing with artists who usually want to do their own thing and have their own way. An amazing man and a great motivater too - thank you for posting this! :o)
Wow, I've never heard it put in such a eloquent and truthfully to the point manner. I've always been interested in the why's of the mannerisms and protestations gays make for their cause, or lot in life when it should be just who they are for "whatever reason" this explains it in a straight to the point fashion.
LOVINGTHIS07: It's one I never heard, either. And my current discussion here notwithstanding, it doesn't matter in the least! I love Narada, gay or not! He's in my Top Five favourite producers of all time.
Narada should make some magic again with Essra Mohawk. She wrote Cyndi Lauper's CHANGE OF HEART, Lisa Fisher's SO INTENSE & Tina Turner's STRONGER THAN THE WIND. Anyone listening?
wow.....just digging through my old comments on here and realized what a stinkbomb i dropped....hilarious!....it was just a light and humorous ribbing of him....it seems no one got what i was saying.....all the defenders of him thought i was some homophobe...i'm gay also and just laughing at his feminity....and then all the stupid real homophobes had a heyday expressing their vitriol............really the main thing was that he was one of my favorite drummers ...
GUN15509... so you would have us believe. The truth is absolutely evident to any thinking person, though. So keep on spinning! Happy propaganda! lol At least some of us are awake, and see the trend.
ATOLM1: Yes, I am an ethnic minority in the U.S. And I know the difference between the struggle for racial equality and trumpeting my sexual preference for attention, born of insecurity and childhood sexual molestation. The two are not EVEN related. Your faction has been using that tactic alot lately, trying to equate the two. THAT'S the "crying shame." Homophobe? Not in the least. There's no fear whatsoever in my view on this matter. Just a well-informed viewpoint tempered with experience.

Why do feel it necessary to bring up his sexuality. It's really silly of you.
