Very interesting and great fun. I don’t have the 32 but what you demonstrated works similarly with my Cobalt or MicroFreak set to a standard Saw (which is my preferred waveform as well). The advantage with the Moog is that the oscillator/filer sounds so good. I can hear the Moog in your more recent work and it compliments the Digitone very well. A good combination.
Cheers ageezz! That’s great to hear and exactly what I was thinking too: if your synth has a saw and some other subtractive tools like filter, amp envelope etc it should work. Glad to hear that it does! 🙌🏻
You make me wanna buy it. Such a great sound tone of a synth this is. Just concerned on how to sync it with my project (tempo etc..) and I have zero knowledge on how to use the short cables .
It’s an awesome synth and I really love it. Been using it mostly without patch cables so I just got a Sub 25 to have presets, a decent keyboard and more oscillators. But I will keep this and use it now more like an experimentation machine - really looking forward to that 💚
I couldn’t find any video here about Elektron Syntakt. Have you had possibilities to use this gear? What do you think about it? Is this one better than Elektron Digiton, maybe? :)
Hey Aleksei, I actually never got my hands on the Syntakt so I can't say much about it. From what I've seen it looks cool but it's not something for my current setup. But maybe next week at Superbooth I'll get the chance to noodle around a little bit on it. :)
Thank you, happy to hear! For the reverb&delay in this video I used the Ableton stock reverb & delay on send tracks which really works great. A couple of days back I switched the reverb with the Valhalla vintage verb as I find it sounds a tiny bit better for my music, especially when playing my sets in mono.
Hey Jelle, thank you! In this one I’m using the Ableton stock reverb but meanwhile I switched to the valhalla vintage verb. Although I like the Ableton stock reverb, I found that for me the Valhalla sounds better overall, especially in mono.
Hmm difficult. I have a video out on how to make the Digitone sound more analog but I think it doesn’t completely match the tone of the Moog oscillator and especially their ladder filter.
Well thanks to you I just purchased the Mother 32. Such a great sounding synth! Do you always set it up through Ableton? I also purchased the Digitone and Syntakt and this is my first hardware set up. Suoer excited, and super confused about it all 😂
Congrats on the new gear Shawn! 🙌🏻 in my hybrid setup I just use it through Ableton but I used to set it up with the Digitone - the Digitone’s internal effects sound super nice on the Mother-32!
Needed to look that up I have to say but looks very interesting indeed, although I sometimes have mixed feelings about Behringer and their product philosophy. But the Crave looks cool
amazing
Great to hear Kenn! Thank you :)
I could learn a thing or two here, great breakdown!
Cheers buddy! Happy to hear that - was great catching up with you this morning :)
Liebe das Intro - klingt einfach krass 🔥
Nuuu vielen Dank! Nur Liebe für dich und deinen Support ♥️

Nice very versatile instrument I love mine. What reverb/delay are you using it was very subtle but added so much to the overall sound.

Nice work man! Can I ask you what kind of reverb you use on this patch? Sounds great!

Is it possible to create the same MOOG sound on digitone?
Hmm difficult. I have a video out on how to make the Digitone sound more analog but I think it doesn’t completely match the tone of the Moog oscillator and especially their ladder filter.

in this case, the Crave is exactly as good as the original. no reason why anyone cant own one of these babies
