Ranked matches suck because of this but non ranked if cool, I actually like how it is, when I play UFC 5 I kind of don't like picking my character with my opponent. I use mostly: HW - Patterson MW - Froch or Benn WW - Chavez LW - Hatton I actually hate to fight Ali, Jones, Canelo but love when I crush them.

It means picking the characters who are overpowered or easiest to get wins with. Which can also mean u lack any real skill to play the game. Basically, gettin carried by a certain character. Meta choosers take the fun out of the game.

But, do the same combo with Ali, Buster Douglas or Floyd Patterson & u will NOT get the same results. Goofy sh!t like that. Even Canelo. 5 body shots & you're down for the count. Just a bunch of nonsense.
Meta stands for Most Effective Tactics Available. In any video game, it’s whatever/whoever is the best at that moment. In Heavyweight it’s currently Wilder, but the developers could easily tweak the code and make it someone else. Meta is fluid.

Yea they only low tier fighter i use in heavy is buster or bowe in middle and welter and light weight i dont use low tier anymore its no point every spams body shots and pwr right hooks and plus EVERYBODY does nothing but run anyway so i gotta make sure they pay by picking meta
It's no different than any other fighting game ppl will always pick meta characters out of the roster. Who wants to go in with a known handicap. Wish the Crawford player would have not sat in the pocket but kept outside and used the jab more. Now retreating when you have low stamina is smart saw you do it soon as your stamina was low so you cannot criticize someone for doing that. Yes there are ppl that back up all fight but it's also counterplay to it move forward and bait not sit in the middle of the ring and say oh I'm not chasing you. Id like to see some of you content creators fight each other that way you are playing against someone of equal skill and stand there in the pocket trying to fight them you'll be cooked 😂
I always pick Chavez but I start using khan when I lose 2 matches cuz food just be running whole time so I use khan and not come forward when I see them not coming towards me so I just wait and when they do I fight in the pocket as khan but he’s crack not gonna lie

I focus more on my stam bar at least by the 5th and 6th round it would be around 85% to 80% I have a killer jab and body punches. Only throw 20 power punches in every fight
