@@FluxNationStudios Sick! This is exactly why I did it. So glad it helped. What part of the county/world do you live? Did you just buy the setup, or last season?
@@LagmasterB just bought the setup. This’ll be my first season splitboarding. Been saying for 3 years I’m gonna get into it, finally pulled the trigger. I live in Montana near Whitefish
@@FluxNationStudios That’s awesome. I only got in 3 days last season, first season trying it. Whitefish is awesome. Lots of places to go. East. North. I need to make it up to Fernie. Lars from Justaride lives there. I’m in Spokane if you ever wanna meet up at Schweitzer or Lookout Pass!
@@shanekitlas6995 Have you used them? On the tour up, they are phenomenal. Stiff and you just don’t lose a lot of energy to unnecessary flexing. They don’t respond as well as dedicated snowboard bindings, BUT, in powder I was surfing and chilling. On the ride down, when surface conditions are less than ideal, so are the bindings. Being metal base, they transmit everything into the boot. Not horrible, but i wish they made a canted pad insert. Union has nice splitboard bindings, but I’ve heard they suck on the way up. Gonna be a good composite flex binding for the ride down though. I’m going to ride them at ski area this season to test it all out in predictable conditions when my legs aren’t cooked from bourse of skinning.
@LagmasterB thanks for the review. I have not used them. I pulled the trigger and purchased them last night. I got the freeloader and it came with pucks so I went with what made sense.
I got burton 10.5 and im wondering if m size will be ok? i usually have Large size byt k2 and voile says that i should have M is it true? Does it come with heel lock? on k2 page its said its have a povot towers and heel risers only? thanks for info
10.5 is tough. Do you have other 10.5 to compare to? Put them on a table, side by side, backsides down, toes up. If your footprint is smaller on newer boots, go M. If larger footprint than older boots, go L. Newer boots tend to have smaller footprints for a given intended size. The pucks have a little adjustment, so if you have like half a size of toe drag, you could negate that with the pucks. Another thing to consider is that the baseplate is massive on these (ie. You can fit a wider boot than almost anyone makes), so the L’s could be absolute boats. They do have heel locks. 4:25. Hope this all helps.

Haven't had a chance to ride bindings/splitboard yet. Horrible season up here in PNW right now. Slow start, great snow, now rain again. Probably gonna be a lot of late season touring reviews on this setup here on my channel. Wish I could get you more info!
Helped me get the new setup dialed. Thanks dude!
@@markvangerwen3740 hell yeah!!
Great info! Bought the 2023 board and bindings (on sale) and they sent the wrong user manual, so this video is incredibly helpful

Solid info. not a ton of stuff out there on this system and greatly appreciate the overlook on these.
Awesome man! This is exactly the intention of the video. Any questions or you need a deep dive on something let me know.
Thank you for making the video! Good info!
🙏🏻 you’re so so welcome!!
Thanks! I hope that you had a good start of the season. What boot is that? It looks interesting.
Going to Crystal on Tuesday. Horrifying start to season up here in PNW.
Those are 2022 ThirtyTwo Jones MTB’s
This video saved me. Thanks brotha yewww
Somehow, someway I wanted this to save someone/help them decide hahahaha
Just got the same 2023 set up

How is everyone feeling about the ride stiffness of the binding? I prefer something softer.

@ I think unions are an option. Try the Farouts for a season and see what you think. I’m actually going part way up Mt Hood tomorrow.

@ no..but you can fit their system on freeloader
but how does it ride
