Female hip hop...and I still adore most of it !! I'm white but thankfully, grew up partly in a nearly all black neighborhood in Detroit.
Damn, time flies . It doesn't even feel like it was that long ago. Seems like it was just yesterday when this song was in heavy rotation on the air waves. 1994-1996 were really good years for Rap &Hip-Hop back then. Especially Kriss Kross's "Young Rich & Dangerous" LP, Da Brat really went in hard on that one. I swear that had to be one of their best releases. Alot of people slept on that one, though. But, bump it today & hear how much better music was back then compared to today.
