I'm not a world class player at fifa by a long shot, im was in div 4 so thought I would give these tactics a go, play 6 squad battles in world class and won 5 and drew 1, got confident/familiar with the way the tactics played so went a played fuf champs, played 5 and won 4 ,drew 1 and am now in div 3 half way to div 2, whilst in the process I qualified for this week's fuf champs, I must say these tactics are very good and have improved my game play alot, ive put it under attack custom formation as i didnt know if it was defence or ultra def but definitely will be sticking with these as its working for me and keep up the amazing content 👍
Literally tried this tactic for 3 games and was utterly annoying to play with. Not going with these tactics fam, I personally feel like 41212(2) is the best tactics atm
hey, you often say when you put the CB on Overlap, that they won't actually make an overlapping run. from my experience they actually do make overlapping runs while I am using the 3-5-2. and it wasn't an L1 or L1 pass that triggered it. it was basically when the opponent is siting deep and I am recycling the possession trying to find some space to get in. but so far this hasn't bitten me in the ass yet. as I easily notice it and they haven't countered me yet whilst this happens. and it's not that often that this happens.
Very effective if you run 3 cms normally as you can put the one who suits the cb role the most into the middle cb and let full backs get up and down. Preferably someone 6ft+ with good pace and defence

been using that since november, it's good enough for elite rivals and 12-16 wins in WL depending on how hard you try. Some formations mess it up but I just forfeit out of those games, cba to play other formations.
Whats the difference between 5212 and 3412? I'm using 3412, wingers still come back to defend but they get forward faster and winger instructions seem better than wingbacks. No CDMs either, just 1 CM on stay back but he still comes forward from time to time. Only weird thing is that sometimes my RM comes to the middle when defending, no clue why he does that, no matter if it's Cuadrado or Vinicius.

First 3 games conceded 4 goals, 4 goals and then 6 goals. Full backs high leave you wide open at the back, wanted this to work but definitely not for me!
Changed from 433 standard to 4-2-2-2 but i’ve been wrongfully transfer banned so i defo need this formation with the fucking players im coming up against😂
It’s so annoying cause u give of the illusion that you know what ur talking about with ur pen thing but u actually know nothing. LWB and RWB just sat back the whole time and my CAM played CDM most of the game.
Modify the 4312 into 42112. 1. Pull your two CBs back to create a space for two DMs. 2. Pull your two CMs to the position of DMs. 3. Let all midfielders cover ONLY the center. 4. Let the CAM stay forward. 5. Let your two fast strikers stay central and get behind the defenders. 7. Play balanced/ possession/ fast 8. Keep every other level at 50%. You'll kill even the pros of the game with this 😃. The key is to overload the middle of the pitch and play simple short passes. Your through balls from the cam and cm is going to be devasting. THANK ME LATER 50%

I’m gonna be honest. I use your 4231 tactics but adapted them myself win like most my game’s but this 5212 is crazy good when used correctly. My backUp when I’m struggling and just need a swap of style
After all these issues formations how to attack and defend I have just given up. Deleted. I cant stomach having my whole team stagnant for no apparent reason apart from the fact they have gold neymar and puyol in their team. Best wishes on your journey. I'm sick of coming across this Anti football formation, not fun at all and that is the point of the game yeah to have fun??? People seem to have lost sight of that small little fact and ps if you learn how to actually defend you wouldn't need 5 at the back to begin with

Have used this since the beginning. It gives you everything. The triangles of a 41212 along with great width from the wing backs.

Yeah for sure, I've been using Vasquez and Baku as wing backs, both got about 97 stam.

this has somehow taken me down 250 skill points i was at 2000 idk why my players cant defend at all using this formation

Could be work rates, happened to me then I found out pique had High attacking work rates

would roberto carlos work well in the LB spot? feel like his weak foot and passing might not be ideal when circling the ball to the CMs
