For me, every day is a lifetime. I am born every morning a fresh, brand new baby...and die as sleep announces the end of a lifetime at the end of every day. So 2 weeks is 14 lifetimes for me. I am the same age as Marianne. Over many lifetimes l have acquired much valuable knowledge through mistakes. Atonement and ransom sacrifice seem more like accountant words rather than human words. Human words like hope, faith, belief, trust , compassion, understanding etc. Accountants seem to love ugly words as much as they love their brain numbing soul sucking numbers. Ugly words like sanction, starve, torture, murder and bomb. In a nation bristling with brilliant (uplifting) poets, artists, musicians, mystics, human beings and creators of joy...why are we (hearts/love) being ruled by a minority of destructive number worshipping accountants (ego/greed)? You may not have much of a chance to be president now, but I hope one of the "extreme" (not really) left will be (Sanders, Warren ...) , and your wisdom will really seep into the public consciousness. And into Politics. You give me some hope into what is going on in the USA. By the way, I have never been to the states, but as you say, your people are good. Every US American I ever met was easy to get on with, warm, chatty, pretty smart, trusting and harmless in the good sense of that word. May the USA become the same!

To rise above the battlefield; How do we convince the "amoral" 1% to do the right thing without violence? Trickle down their wealth to the less fortunate. Or, if we think in terms of 'grace' meaning forgiveness of the past, are we not all responsible to begin anew and trust God, who knows all. God gives the Holy Spirit to those who believe in Jesus Christ and trust we will rise up without violence unless we are 'sent' into war which is ultimately against our covenant with God. We are to do NOW AND HENCEFORTH, UNTO OTHERS WHAT WE WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO US. Faith and trust in a higher order. We are to serve God.
There is no one else worth voting for than Marianne.
