It is for some people. The thing is, it isn't a high or low. What matters is the persons voice. Some of the notes in the original key is really hard. You never change your voice to go with the music. Change the music to fit your voice. Because your voice is what it's all about. :-)

I'm confused on why someone would need a lower version of this song. The original key isn't high at all
girls have to usually sing an auctive higher with the normal version which is pretty high so they made this lower key mainly for girls

well I'm a soprano so going up an octave from the original and lowering the key is the easiest thing for my vocal chords
I'm actually a baritone, but I go all the way up to mezzo soprano. :-)
