Nice looking Post-apocalyptic cars here! The '63 Plymouth is a Savoy. I read about it on the Internet Movie Car Database. Personally, I actually have a diecast Johnny Lightning 1962 Plymouth Savoy, as well as a Hot Wheels 1963 Plymouth Belvedere 426 Wedge in my diecast collection! However, according to my recent research, the Savoy was actually a lower trim line than the Belvedere. The lineup was Plaza, Savoy, Belvedere and Fury from plainest to fanciest. I don't have a Plaza, but I do have a 1957 Fury as a Hot Wheels car in my collection. All of these vehicles would've had the option of the push-button trannie that Mopar was producing back in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Better yet, my mother actually has a very late production 1964 Plymouth Barracuda that has one of the last produced push-button trannies that was phased out in 1965.
There was no Plaza in 1963. Savoy was the lowest model, so low in fact that the name Savoy is nowhere on the car. I have one parked in fro9nt of my house.
"We need some sort of living thing coming out of a phantom skeleton. Hmm, what random animal should we have coming out of a skeleton? I know! A Walrus! No, that would make the film look silly. We wouldn't want that to happen. I know! A boa Constrictor!" ...for some reason.
I like how the machine-turned panels on top of the Montego's roof more or less emulate the factory vinyl top.

The "mad max" bloke driving the Montego looks like he should be in the Village People or dancing on a stage with Zalenski to some groovy disco
