The biggest threat to u will be reds and purples when running this build. If u r solo, u’ll see more of them. So maybe run unbreakable instead of vanguard when solo. If u don’t have oroborus, try running Scorpio. If u lose all armor while fighting, pop ur shield and wait for the heal to drop and reversal or all out to reset. Use the crossbow for dogs and heavies Lastly, no regen directive is bugged right now and will prevent ur armor regen from working. I’d recommend turning it off with this build
Great tips! I ran Unbreakable with it before, but I switch to Vanguard because it benefits the team, plus I hardly ever go down and when I do, my revive hive immediately picks me up. The Scorpio is beast! with the build, those reds and purples don't have a chance from the shocks!! LOL!!

I would say yes, at the same time you don't want a bunch of enemies shooting you, you will go down if you run out of a way to heal yourself. Remember that it is a combination of the armor and the talents that are keeping you alive, so you have to play with that in mind. You can also use Unbreakable on the chest piece for more survivability.
What is your reasoning, it is a tank support build. I have used it on many multiplayer co-op missions. I use it on Manning National Zoo to take the argo from the 2 big bosses at the end while the DPS players lay into them and take them out. I have used it to solo all heroic missions in the game, i have used it to solo heroic maps in the game. Yes, it is low DPS, but it can be used in situational circumstances and used as a support for DPS when they are going down or I can revive them in an open area while taking fire without dying. You may have a DPS only play style, but remember that there can be multiple play styles in this game. I gave my reasoning. Now let me hear yours.
Dps isn't everything. Having 1 tank in manning and tidal basin legendary means you can get a 25 min clear time. The tank takes agro from thing slide droners and chungas by running up and being annoying, soaking the damage, so the 3 dps can kill fast without taking any damage from the enemy. Think smart, not simple.

@@DeeJay5Kvanguard is what makes it support. Just replace that and it’s otherwise a viable build for running around the open world solo
