Also, the lake trio is a good way to introduce tag team. But not the tag team like in the physical TCG. They can do something like if you have the lake trio in your bench and one of them is in the active spot, you'll unlock their synch skill which is a unique ability that shows up when you have all three of the same unit in play
Torterra, Infernape, and Empoleon all seem like shoo-ins to get EX forms in A2. Bidoof's had some memes centered around it, so I'd be amused if they gave us an EX-Bidoof. With how disappointing EX-Palkia was on reveal, I shudder to think of how "base" Palkia will turn out. It would be a huge surprise if the "base" form were actually viable!
My guy has never owned a physical copy of the Spiritomb card from Platinum Arceus. This card straight up prevents trainers from being played if its in the active spot. And can attack for zero energy, getting evolution pokemon out of the deck and evolving your benched Pokemon! It was truly a nightmare when it released in 2009!

I think: - each of the Gen 4 Final Starter will get an EX + Full Art of either 1-star or 2-star rarity, as well as Promo Full Art non-EX, just like A1 - Spiritomb and the Lake Trio will get a Full Art and their EX version will get Rainbow Rare at the very least. I can smell another Crown Rare candidate, even. - Dialga and Palkia (non-EX) might get a 1-star Full Art
@@DamaCollects Prolly Garchomp and Togekiss will definitely getting a Full Art and a slim chance of Rainbow-rare Alt Art (though currently most if not all Rainbow Rares are EX Pokemon). Oh also CROWN RARE PokeTools 😍 (well, they might tune it down to 2-star just like Trainer Full Art but okay 😄)
