I’m not a single parent, I’m not even a parent parent, but I’m watching all of your videos because I am creating a webcomic where the main characters are a dad and his son, no mother involved. I want to see how to raise little kids, so I found your channel. I love this shout out to single parents because it can be rough, especially with so much negativity surrounding the subject. People constantly criticize single parents for not giving their children the “experience of having two parents” when most times it’s not in their control to begin with. I just wanted to say I appreciate seeing these videos. Keep up the positivity- and to single parents out there: you’re doing great.

Ppl always think there are no positive parts to single parenting it was easy for me i totally enjoyed it ! With a partner you have to consider someone else selfish but real .

Sad to see this channel encouraging a dangerous phenomenon that leads to higher rates of suicide, high school drop outs, drug abuse, criminal records and mental illness amongst the children involved. It’s one thing to give support to these parents but it’s another to glamorize.

Coparenting is better! Both parents should be active in their childs life, but you are trying to saying the benefits of staying single and raising kids!

not all pairs of parents are involved, so yes its great but its not always an option

I find it easier alone! I was able to make the decisions on things(like her name)since I was solo from the get go! She’s in grade 12 now so in one more year I can say I did it all on my own! ☺️ well of course grandma and auntie helped too!

Look at these people glorifying single motherhood. No wonder your children tend to be underachievers.

What? So by your logic , to be successful you have to come from a two parent ? So , explain how my male friend has a successful business and became a multi millionaire from a one parent home ??? Explain how my cousins who parents are still together , put them in private schools but dropped out of college the first year ????? Explain how my mom is the first person to go to college and graduate and she too come from a one parent home ??? Explain how President Obama became successful and a president from a one parent home???? You can’t be this naive and closed minded???
      Maybe you are !

@@Strawberryfreeze3000 Everything you listed was either materialistic and career. No one said that’s not possible but you’re missing out of the mental health part of it. Look at the statistical data. There’s more to being successful than your academic achievements and financial status. And you just listed a very tiny handful of people but in reality statistically (across millions of people and years of research) children who are raised in a single parent home are at the greatest risk of committing suicide, ending up on drugs, dropping out of school, in prison and struggling with mental health issues. It’s a serious issue and maybe you should do some research about the truth or single parenting.

What if a man has died? This is to empower people to continue parenting not just give up. Some men even abandon their kids
