Hi. I was wondering which road did you take to the base. I was there last Sunday, looking at Mt. Bryce. I took Bush River Road from Donald, At the time, I did not know I was on Mt. Columbia. I was just driving, but I do believe I was very close to the Base from a logging road. The clouds made it hard to see. I was wondering what the last 5 KM of Logging road up there were like, I ran out of time,

No and not really. It’s actually one of the easier and safest peaks on the Columbia icefields. It has all the regular hazards of a glaciated peak but is straightforward otherwise. Put it this way - it’s one of the few peaks I’ll repeat in that area. I

Would Mount Columbia be considered dangerous or hard to you?
