Yes please!!!!!!! And about SteadyShot with vintage lenses, on the Sony a7ii it is 3 axis with vintage lens on the body.
I heard another RUclipsr say that the high resolution of the A7RIV negatively affected using vintage glass. You’ve proven that wrong. Great shots

Lively POV, Curtis! Vintage lenses in decent condition can be surprisingly good - special character and color rendition; watch for CA, though. Markets great venue for people in environment shots. Sporting of the barber to let you photograph - good character w/beard, too. Re: focusing, did you use zone focus, via lens depth of field markings? Re IBIS - Sony should work just fine when you set lens focal length in menu. Lack of exif data a trade-off for these lenses. Cheers!

Haven't watched the whole video yet, so maybe it'll get answered later on. But can I ask you what settings you put manually put steadyshot on for the zoomlens?
The focal length you choose for a prime is easy, but I still don't know what you should pick when it comes to a zoomlens.

Adapt Minolta Maxxum (A Mount Lenses), they have autofocus if you want it. The lenses also have unique qualities as well. The reflex lens' bokeh is satisfyingly odd.
I’ve a few film cameras so bought an adapter to try the lenses on my Fuji Xt3, not tried on the streets yet but I will.
A guy who Admins our Street Photography Group with me and others owns two Barber shops in Leeds mate, I’ll have to find out where as I fancy a trip up there, my mate met up with him in Leeds but I couldn’t make it but we all met up in Liverpool a week or so ago.

Love your confidence. It’s half the battle for great street photography. I have the OM Zuiko 135mm f3.5 for my XT3. Paid 15 quid for it few months back and despite it being decades old it had never been used. Great fun to play around with. You can get some great vintage glass for well under 100 quid. Just watch out for fungus. The old Olympus stuff is what you want.
Yeah confidence such a big part of it, just got to go for it!!! It amazes me how many cheap vintage lenses you can get, I've seen some great Olympus lenses with amazing T-stops might have to pick one up in the future :)
@@CurtisPadley Their 85, 90 and 100mm f2 and f2.8 lenses are incredible but they’ve started increasing in price so be careful. Their 28mm f2.8 is another brilliant ultra cheap lens and one of the most readily available. But the 135mm, for £20 or less, is just incredible. Has a lovely little pop out lens hood as well. If you look after them they’ll only go up in price.

The 135 you used was this a Sigma lens? Yes, more POV
The 135mm lens I was using was a Prakicar lens, hope that helps
