I don't live in Vegas any longer. Not since Summer 2023. Your channel is the only Vegas channel I watch. Subscribed during the Vegas/Lake Mead water scare. Your channel was the best in terms of coverage. Hope the best for you and your family. Will continue to look in on this channel to keep up with you. Thanks for all the coverage, information and simplicity of life you have. Somehow with all you have going day to day you manage to make it all seem simple. That's a gift.

When was the "Vegas water scare"? I know about the issues with Mead, but how did Vegas fit into that?

Welcome back. I always enjoy your videos. The Las Vegas recycled water returning to Lake Mead is only marginally cleaner than the not-so-clean water that is initially drawn out. Burning fuel, microplastics and "forever chemicals" can not be filtered out but are recycled into our ecosystems again and again.

Great show. I think it is right and good that you have gone back to school. Congratulations. My son who has painted boats is sick of his profession too. He'd rather do landscaping. I get it. You understand water. Maybe you could walk us through on maps with the news about what changes the new administration is doing with Californias water. Congrats on going back to school. Learning a recession proof skill, such as HVAC repair, is a good idea as those jobs can pay well. Meantime I follow RUclips channels which have sponsors. Others use Patreon, which is a nice tool for offering paid subscriptions or selling merchandise. As for content; you need to create content which is interesting and meaningful to you. It could be product reviews, cooking demonstrations, or simply walking through various places of interest in Vegas talking about current events. It doesn't have to be about events happening in Vegas. You could share your take about news stories happening in other parts of the world as well. It's all up to you.

You won’t believe this but at Saylorville Lake here in Iowa, near Des Moines had a big fire Wednesday night. I believe there were more ten house boats that were on the shore, burnt up. CRAZY!!
Well, as much as we may not like it sometimes, unfortunately life is all about change. And it sounds like your channel is going to change too. And along with change sometimes comes with loss. I’ve enjoyed your channel for a real long time for the fact that you focused so much on lake mead itself, and its surrounding features. So it is with much sadness I will probably stop following the channel because although change is inevitable, it doesn’t mean it’s always pleasant. So at this point I will say thanks for all your fantastic videos you’ve made in the past about lake mead, and wishing you the best in your future endeavors. Gonna miss all the Great Lake content that I’ve grown accustomed to that you have provided in the past. Best wishes and take care.
Hi Joey, have you thought about ways to use your HVAC skills to conserve the condensate water? My home a/c pulls about five gallons out every day, here in the Midwest. I diverted the drain into a bucket, which I use to water my patio garden and houseplants. It’s not much, but I figure every little bit helps.😊

Sorry but the water shortage is still going on. We are down 5.25’ from last year and 27.75’ down from 2020 on this date.
I use to drive my boat up into the Grand Canyon from South Cove, now the river mouth is at South Cove and the launch is gone. Only shore launch. Yes the lake is up from its low at 1044, but we are a LONG way from being good.
I think the water situation is important. Maybe space it out 2 times a month or once a month. I have very much enjoyed the content of natural assessments.
I think you are on the right track with mixing it up!
