Buying below median PE is a very good method but note that the median PE is very different from the average PE.
This is what I do in stock selection. Compare Historical PE and decbide on stock valuation. Your video an eye opener namaste

In my opinion consideration of 3 and 5 years PE is good enough as 10 years back company may not have done significantly and in last few months or years doing amazing business. In such case median PE of 10 years is not worth. Take the example of Olectra Greentech, 10 years back vs 3 years back vs 6 months duration.
