I already saw this mod , the problem i have with it is the new ingle , it just never stop popping and is too OP i think the orb should just respawn once or max twice .
I tried using the Counter + Riposte mod but it's OP af, so I removed the auto-cast of ice spikes and lightning bolts from the perfect blocks, leaving only the respective enchantments on the weapons. Now it's great. Time to test Perfect Dash Mod Edit: Damn the Ranger skills are insane, especially Flying Din ex. 💥💥💥
All vocations are OP on the vanilla game. 😅 Check out Infinite Cringe's channel. She has an "all vocations are OP" video and you'll see. I've played this game since launch and I am still learning new things by watching her and Rift. Blessings.
The mystic knights skills doesn't work all that well because when the lightning bolts hit they slow down the game like when you parry with the shield It looks cool but gets annoying quickly
This mod definitely adds some cool stuff, but the only combat overhaul I want is Mystic Knight actually wearing/using their shield instead of keeping it on their back like a doofus!
I think what is even more baffling is that we don't have physical shield skill like Fighter's shield bash/combo skill We got one big-ass shield the size of hobgoblin and we can't use that to bash the shit out of Grigori?
Hopefully they add a mod that allows you to double jump or levitate without the need for the sword or staff. Also it seems like every game is getting a co-op mod these days so that would be a dream come true.
Thats my hope for a sequel. That or temporary ally control like what got added to Final Fantasy 15. I'm not trying to perma swap characters - just trying to make full use of a Ranger's scouting abilities in the field without having to be the Ranger the whole time.
I appereciate mass enchantment on Mages/Sorcerers but it makes MK enchantments useless. Also EX Gamble Draw look like MA skill than ranger, personally I would change it to Miasma (Miasma looks like a big poison cloud) but I'm the last person that should dispute that things Beside that it's a nice QoL patch (I call this a patch cause it easily could be added to vanilla version without breaking immersion)

If your argument is that it should have magical abilites becauss it has enchanted weapons then by that logic every vocation should be a magic vocation. And that's not how that works.
It's a real shame us console players don't have access to mods for this game. There's quite a few I wouldn't mind trying out. I still don't understand their reluctance to allow us console users to play and enjoy the game with mods. I like playing the game to begin with but having access to mods would bring in more players to enjoy the game.
on ps5 and the new xbox sure but the reason they dont allow it is mostly hardware limitations. its already hard enough to run pc DDDA with a bunch of mods as it is
I am kinda new at modding community but I know TESV Skyrim is the peak of game modding. Does the modding community in Dragon's Dogma the same as Skyrim? I mean the quality of mods available
I know that dogma is a lot harder to mod since the dev tools are not available to the modders like in skyrim. Dragons dogma modding is growing tho, and we have some great mods created.
Capcom has learned so many things over the years just imagine what dd2 is going to be like omg. My biggest dislike was the stamina system and not having fast travel or a mount to traverse the massive world. Another thing was how at many times I simply didn’t have a clue as to where I was going for quests lol. Had the same issue with nier automata as far as knowing where to go to progress in the game.
I actually like the stamina system; it keeps you from just spamming your strongest skills and rendering the basic attack buttons useless. The only change I would really want would be a faster recharge and/or slower drain when sprinting out of combat. Maybe purchasable/rentable horses to slightly increase travel speed, maybe even with different specializations such as faster but more fragile horses you'd have to protect, or slightly slower but hardier and when combat starts, they know to get the hell out of dodge. Even better would be a cart you can load everyone into and has some cargo space so you can hit multiple dungeons in one trip and bring more supplies with you without weighing you down. I also actually like the fast travel system in DDDA, you unlock more customizable places to fast travel to without being able to just skip travelling the world entirely. Hopefully DD2 will have more dynamic overworld spawn which will alleviate some of the tedium of travelling and always encountering the same monster spawns in the same locations. That said, I'm a weirdo who rarely uses fast travel in games like Skyrim as to me, the adventure getting to and from the quest/dungeon locations are part of what makes the adventuring fun. Otherwise, why not just have it like Monster Hunter or Warframe where you just pick a quest and loading screen to that day's adventure. I do agree with you in that I would like the quest log to have a bit more direct focus of telling you what to do or having Pawns with quest knowledge giving more explicit hints. I actually really liked Ghost of Tsushima's system with the wind pointing you toward your goal, so you weren't constantly having to open and stare at the map. I would rather not have giant glowing neon arrows pointing out where to go and all that. Rambling, long-winded monologue aside, you bring up great points and really hope that Capcom integrates all the things they've learned in the timespan between and give the sequel the love it deserves (and that 2 doesn't have as much content as 1 does)!

I want to be able to play the whole game online with a team but if not then I won’t complain. I want the features from dragons dogma online to come back for it though like being able to get your own house or at least a camp or tent and be able to customize it all. Maybe feel crops and tend to your team. I like small features like that.

I hate that MK have the elements enchants superior version and Mage and Sorcery takes so much time to buff everyone with it would be a perfect upgrade to them

Rangers can be enchanted. There is nothing saying they cant have magiccattacks. You just made that up. In no game is a Ranger delegated to just physical powers. Its always different. They have fire and ice bows in the game so how wouldnt it make sense? It makes perfect sense for a game like DD.

There's a great example of Ranger being relegated to physical powers, actually. Dragon's Dogma. Your point about there being enchanted weapons would stand better if the magical effects added to the Ranger skills only triggered with the appropriate elementally enchanted weapons equipped, or with the proper enchantment given by a Mage/Sorcerer/Mystic Knight. Otherwise, why didn't they give Fighter calling down meteors with they use Blitz Strike, or Warriors filling the area with lightning when they use Corona Slash? After all, they can wield enchanted weapons and be enchanted, too. Don't get me wrong, the effects are super cool, and impressive from a technical standpoint as well since DDDA is hard to mod in meaningful ways. It just doesn't make sense to give the pure red and yellow vocations magical effects on their attacks, as that's literally what Magic Archer and Mystic Knight are hybrids for, to give magic to otherwise purely physical vocations.
