Word of advice when shooting never rest on the barrel… always on the foreplate on the stock… probably why he missed, tough deal I know things get forgotten in the heat of the moment
Really enjoyed the video...I'm considering an idaho hunt myself, can you recommend a unit? I like the semi-open country and ability to spot and stalk from a distance... Also, what time of the year would you recommend? Thanks!
I would say probably Southern ID! I can’t really say any particular units as I’m just starting to hunt over there myself and don’t know units that well. I’d recommend early October! Weather is usually somewhat enjoyable!
Great video! I would suggest to your dad that when shooting, never have your barrel on the rest your shooting from. Always put the stock on the rest.
Great video.
What a great video! The pure joy on your faces and excitement in your reactions made me rethink my hunting attitude. Instant subscriber! Good job!!
Love the film. Strong work on showing the realness of the hunt.
Thank you guys! That’s always the goal, show Realness and every aspect of the hunt, rough or easy💪🏼
Great job! Love the excitement you showed. That's what it is about when you work so hard to get a buck!! Well done!!
Awesome video. I hate that you feel the need to justify a "small" buck, but I understand that people can be the worst. Congrats to you both!
Nice video good job nice buck congrats

Bring a sling shot/wrist-rocket for grouse.

Always smart to put on your vid the illegal way you are taking animals
Not legal to take crows or grouse with a pellet rifle in Idaho
You’d be incorrect. Look it up. It’s an air gun.
What camera are you using?
Nikon Z50 and a GoPro 10!
@BNW Outdoors sweet. Great quality. A LOT of hunters (novice) use cheaper looking cameras and yours was great. Keep making more.
You shot high because of resting your barrel on the tripod, rooky mistake.
