NTI Midweek Mindset with DJ Zary

Meet DJ Zary, a 12-year-old sensation from Graydon Sealy Secondary School. Starting
his DJ journey at just nine, Zary quickly captured hearts with his debut at the Stay Alive
Garden Party in 2022. His unique blend of lovers rock and dancehall at the Thursday
Night Breadfruit Roast, earned him a dedicated following, with patrons arriving early
just to hear him spin.
With a natural gift for music, Zary honed his skills on an old laptop his dad gave him,
mastering virtual DJ software and later advancing to a professional controller. He has
his own sound system and is in the process of writing a song to sing next year. His
talent and dedication have taken him to DJ at various events where he thrives on stage,
transforming from a generally shy young man into a captivating DJ.
He played in Guyana last year for the event Black Out in Orange Walk, Georgetown, and will be the
featured DJ this year in St. Vincent at the Teen Splash 784 pre-Independence Garden
Party on October 25th.
