I'm planning a 2-month Extended Stay in Lamai beginning in late August. I'm thinking first to pass a week in Bangkok, then a few days at Lam-Tong Resort (Don Sac) before sailing on to Ko Samui/Lamai. Hello, thank you for your comments but it takes 2,000 baht per night. It may be cheaper but without air conditioning and without the necessary amenities with regard to the heat.
I wish you a nice stay. Be sure to rent a hotel room with air conditioning and not fans that are totally ineffective.
