so glad eddie has his abuela and tia to shower him in the love and affection he deserves. loved seeing him stand up to ramon finally and let him know how much his actions effected him. all the childhood stories of eddie really hit different. he’s always been such a kind and selfless caretaker to those around him. it’s not hard to see how he became such an incredible father and amazing person.
It takes a village to raise a child. Eddy was not perfect, and family-wise they didn't always agree or cooperate together. But forgiving and growing is part-and-parcel of strong families. A few of them tried talking Eddy into giving up Christopher to Ramon and his wife after Eddy's wife ran away; giving him up to them "for his sake." Eddy's reply was "F**** that," moved to San Francisco but made-up with them, his Tia's and Abuela after a while.
So young Eddie was trying to take care of the family the way his absentee father was supposed to, taking his mom to the hospital and making food for his sisters, and instead of appreciation Ramon gave him hell for it? No wonder Eddie's so repressed.
Both are very idealistic results, only happen in drama but not real life. And since I am not a paramedics, I walked away, and it's not she's gonna listen so why bother.
@@TheHauntedMansionGhost True, even later on Maddie had flee and hide, BUT, she was really "being there" at Buck childhood, and respond to his emotion.
Because it is parallel. Eddie were raised by Ramon. If he wants it or not he repeats some action and words from his father. He was young and deep inside he thought it would be smt his father would be proud about him
I hear you man. My mom had a minor heart attack last April in Florida during our vacation in Walt Disney World. She was hospitalized there and after we got back and found out she had a MINOCA episode. She was given nitroglycerin in the event she has another episode.

It says a lot that Ramon remembers it as "the day my son wrecked my truck" instead of "the day my daughter was born" 😠
That's a good catch. I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. Very sad
Certainly says a lot about him.
It's really nice to see Eddie stand up for himself, the therapy really paid off...

Eddie kinda lookeed disappointed that it wasn't a heart attack😂
Like "Srsly dad? All this drama only cause your blood vessels weren't opening?"
Finally eddie is saying what he is feeling and confronting his father and this happens 🙄. Eddie's family is used to keep everything inside like buck's

“I am providing for my family”, I dont know why this looks like what have Eddie said to Shannon for their argue, (in 3x15)

Wow, so I guess Buck isn’t the only one with parent issues.
So....figuring out where your "pride" came from Eddie?
Everyone in the background is still partying while the guy they're celebrating is having heart issues.
There’s a car in the living room/ kitchen!
Eddie Diaz, I feel so bad for you sweetie, I love how you told them how you finally feel. Babe, dw, I'm here for you!!!
I'm on nitroglycerin and it's saved my life 2 x so far... and I just turned 41
