I find sad that in France where i live so little has remained. Our sacred sites were mostly destroyed. First because of the war with the romans then because of christianity which did its best to erase the pagan spirituality. Ireland was preserved from this for a longer time than the Celtic Gauls so more has remained. I feel like i don't have anything to guide me with the Celtic spirituality on my land. I feel called toward Brigid, Cerridwen, and the Morrigan,...the myths are fantastic. And there's many books out there to help and teach. How do we work with our own land ancestors and deities when it's been erased ?Ironically i lived near the New Forest for many years before heading back to France but back then i wasn't following a spiritual pagan path.
I feel similarly, living in Australia. I'm of Celtic descent living in an ancient but colonised land. I'm strongly drawn to Celtic spirituality but even the seasons here in the southern hemisphere are the opposite to the northern Celtic wheel of the year which makes it challenging to celebrate the meaningful dates. I love and appreciate the indigenous culture here and their spiritual beliefs but I am not drawn to participate nor I believe, should I. There are no cultural sites here to connect to my Celtic roots so I immerse myself in books, videos and podcasts. Certainly a challenge for this Aussie pagan! 😂
Thank you Moon Books - these podcasts are fascinating. Rachel and Danu particularly good to listen to.
Called to me strongly from Canada 🇨🇦 decades ago. It's like an ancient craving. ❤
I loved this. I could listen to Danu all day, the information just flows out via normal conversation.
Thank you, very interesting
brilliant! thank you 💙

There are earth spirits and nature spirits and deities everywhere. Wherever nature is present there are earth spirits to work with and honour.
What Goddess are they talking about? They said the name only once and I didn't catch it. I was expecting them to say it again 😅
