She is by FAR the best Jenna, but I found her later performances tended to veer away from her perfect pre-opening performance which was smaller than all the many, many later performances by seemingly everyone (including herself) who went so much bigger. I can't believe she is still doing this smaller version! I hope to see it myself! Thanks!💕
@@jesusdehoyos1326 Thank you for for your response. Yes, that is the one weakness of YT, is that everything may be out of context. Her's(which I'm comparing to later Broadway performances -- which I officially didn't see) and everyone else's, concert voices are excellent, (I think I'm guilty of comma-splicing 😂). But as someone with a B.A. in Drama, these small, intimate performances are personal, heartfelt and mostly what I and my friends always wish to convey to the audience (equal parts emotion AND character) which, these days, is sacrificed for the biggest, shake-the-rafters performance possible.
@@BrianBorges-ez3ls sure, I get you. But I also know that in a concert setting, it’s just not the same. Environment and the expectations of the audience and patrons who fund these performances. I happen to think her later performances in the role are very authentic. I understand that’s you’re opinion, so I respect it. Having degrees in voice, I’m just saying that you do treat these kind of performances a little differently, vocally. However, this is also just a snapshot of one performance. Doesn’t mean that she can’t convey the character, but as you know, being in live theater, just a different kind of high.
@@jesusdehoyos1326 Hey! I think we're each liking one of her versions of her performance a little bit more than the other, but thinking that both are excellent? Are you on board with this?
Beautiful 🎉👏🏻 it is a so emotional song
she's just stunning. hands down the best Jenna for me
Thank you so much for recording this!! I was there last night but felt too scared to record haha

Her later performances are in concert, so you have to approach it differently. It’s much more about the voice rather than portraying a character.
