As voted for on last weeks poll we’re tackling Re:Zero! It was the clear winner with over 30% of the votes! Slight difference with this reaction is it isn't a FULL Blind Reaction, Kelvin is up to date with the show but he even mentions himself how he hasn't exactly been watching the openings or endings whilst watching.

This is one of the few shows that i like ALL the Openings and the Endings. Also they have really good insert songs like "Straight Bet" and "theater D", and also Rem and Ram insert songs.
Straight bet and theater D, are my favorite OST’s in the whole show
emilia also has her own insert song. i'd argue is the best one, though im a sucker for songs that arent just about love
@@ma.2089 i love both of her inserts the most. Maybe cause Rie Takahashi is my favourite VA, but that doesn't change the fact that the songs are bangers

@batats ehhh. The only girl who actually likes him romantically is rem. You could include Satella but that's rather debatable. If you take arc 6 into account than sure.
For Ed 1, the snow does mean something for the show other what he mentioned for later. It relates to the relationship between a puck and Emilia but the more watch the show the more you know about this.
In the end of Memory Snow it snowed everywhere in the country. Most of characters were marveling the sudden snowfall. I think that's the scene for S1ED.
Re:Zero is a must watch, it's novels are a masterpiece and the anime adaptation is quite solid (of course not perfect, which is impossible).
Top tier character development, great Ost and insert songs, foreshadowing and a mix of mystery, thriller, romance and action.
Sadly, Re:Zero is very underrated imo.
It's my all time favorite. There are many that I like as much or almost as much, but none better.

I don't think it's underrated anymore, though(like s1). Sure it's not as popular as mainstream show like Aot, but in the anime community I believe Re:zero is one of big title.
@@Error_Redacted nothing wrong. Just that Arc 4 is the longest by far, so White Fox had to skip content or some scenes were barely explained. I can remember so many examples:
- Satella's dialogue with Subaru in front of all the witches, and the fact that she has split personalities.
- The fact that Emilia saw herself for the first time during her 2nd trial (because of her contract with Puck).
- The Echidna that was in the graveyard was different from the Echidna that Emilia and Subaru met during the trials (That's why Emilia didn't recognise her during ep 23).
- The contract between Subaru and Beatrice.
Also (Possible Spoilers here):
- Wilhem's wound has reopened, and that wound was made by his wife (Theresia). The wound gets stronger as the one who caused it is closer, so... 👀
- Echidna resurrection taking over the body of Ryuzu Shima being also able to communicate with the other witches.

Butterflies are the character motif of one of the most important characters in arc 4 (and the rest of the series) hence why they show up in the season 2 openings and endings, given that all of season 2 covers arc 4.
Arc 4 really is the longest arc so far, to the point where arc 4 alone is longer than the lord of the rings trilogy IIRC in it’s own right, in the original WN version.

@@herbertwalter8693 At least I have heard that comparison before, but you’d have to fact check this for yourself. Although it is longer than all previous arcs combined, at least for the WN version.
As good as the openings in Re:Zero are, I love Re:Zero for the way it often chooses to not play the openings at all, giving more room for episode in the... episode! And it gives the openings more of an impact when they do appear as well.
Actually the S2Op2 had loads of spoilers so was only released in S2 P2 Ep8 (i think) but it was halfway through s2p2 alrdy.
One of the reasons I love watching Re Zero opening reactions is because I want to see others' reaction to Opening 3 lmao

This anime has grown to one of my all time favorites already and I'm just finishing the first half of S2. And isekai isn't usually even my cup of tea, even though I do like Re:Zero, Konosuba and Shield Hero
That 2nd ed made me cry...

I'd watch it. There's a reason it's my favorite anime. Also, the words you see written in japanese in the first opening of S2 (with the montage of all the characters) means, "If it's to save you, I don't care how many times I die."

Re: zero did good how they drop OP&ED even through they didn't put much OP&ED visual in each episodes but they drop OP&ED song at the right time make us remember these song well somehow, the song is also very good I'm hoping to see SS3 and especially SS4(prob arc6) I really wanna know what kind of song will they used for such an arc.

The 4th op was only shown for one ep halfway through s2 and u cant rlly gather much info from it at that point. Ending 4 was sung by the female lead who also does Megumi from Konosuba

Opening 4 was shown in Episode 19 "The Permafrost of Elior Forest" and in Episode 21 "Reunion of Roars"

Most of the time the show doesnt show actually Ending song, but song and credita play during final dramatic scene of the episodes it just adds much more to it all
