We are starting a series named as " MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF MECHANICAL SYSTEM" in which we will learn to make different mathematical models using Scilab software. Here we are going to so the simulation of different forces acting on a vehicle.

Differeence between scilab as matlab??

There no much difference between scilab and matlab. They both are matrix based high level programming software. Matlab has simulink so Scilab has Xcos.
The main reason why scilab is a perfect alternative to matlab is it is free to use and specially used as a virtual physics and maths lab
