    Burma.
    Various shots Japanese people rejoicing at invasion of China (?). Map shows area of China. M/S soldiers running through jungle. M/S Gurkhas advancing through jungle. A man carries big bottle into river and fills it with water. M/S camp with soldiers cooking over open fire. M/S spooning white powder out of thick cane of wood. Various shots as they put spikes around the camp to build up defences. Various shots as they demonstrate booby traps such as spiked pit beneath leaves and poles to impale the enemy.     My both Grandfather was here … later my maternal Grandfather was awarded Military cross … he belonged to 4th Prince of Wales own Gurkha rifles.. I never got to see him ..he passed away soon after his retirement while my mother was still 9 years old …
