    Thanks for the question Moviefan62... Definitely, the MenuPoint graphics will get you going quickly. From within Powerpoint, you can save the images as JPG files or, even MP4 animations. Then, just save the image files to a USB drive and plug it into a smart TV. All the instructions are included with the MenuPoint download.

    HI. My friend owns a bar, has a Samsung DM32E monitor but doesn't know how to set it up and is asking me (a graphic designer) to help him out. I just started doing research on it and I guess I would just have to do some PowerPoint pages, upload them onto a usb, plug it in, and set it to loop. Do you think PowerPoint will suffice? Or do you think he needs MenuPoint? Or...? He just wants to put drink items up there for now, maybe drink specials, and other promotional stuff too. But no food items and no table-side menus or anything like that. Thanks in advance!

    Can off the shelf TV's display vertically? Is there any way to create a scrolling display message? Thanks

      Indeed you can make an animation from Powerpoint. Make multiple slides or select to add text in the animation menu. Then, when you save the presentation, select the format to make a movie instead of a picture. Regarding the vertical TV question, most TVs do not have a menu to select vertical. So, design and save your file sideways. Then, when you load it to the TV, it will be vertical.

    Easy way to make a digital sign and play like the big boys....I'm going to try to do something like this and use an HD TV. Does anybody know what TV brand I can easily put a jump drive or memory stick in? (I want to do this and make a JPG file and put it in a cheapo TV)

    When transferring the jpg image to the USB and play it on TV it did not fit the entire screen why?

      This video doesn't cover initial format sizing. Your issue is probably because your slide size is set to a 4:3 format. You want your slide to be formatted at 16:9 ratio. Then, that will output a “1080P” HD quality picture files. (1080P is a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which is a normal HD TV format.) To do this, in Powerpoint, go to the "Design" menu at the top of your screen. Once you have that menu open look for the "Slide Size" menu near the right side. (It might also be under the "Customize" section. Once you open the "Slide Size" selector, choose 16:9. Then, adjust your design to accommodate the larger format.

      Rudy, please try two things: Go to Design menu, select size, custom size. Make sure the custom size is Width 20in X Height 11.25in (or 50.8cm X 28.575cm) After that, please check the settings on your TV monitor to make sure it is set at "fit to screen" or "Cinema" or "wide screen" If those settings don't work, perhaps there is a zoom setting on your TV. Hope that helps!

    Do you offer bubble tea and donuts/bakery templates?

    • @intuitivesignage8144
      @intuitivesignage8144  6 лет назад

      Hello Vandoeun,
      If you want a 20% discount... read on! There isn't a specific template for bubble tea or donuts. Mainly there are hundreds of templates that can be easily modified with you own images. For example, maybe you want a colorful primary color scheme, or maybe you want a chalkboard hand-writing scheme. Or, perhaps a healthy diet scheme with light fonts and organic colors. Most any design can be found. Then, open the template of your liking and modify it in PowerPoint by deleting the pictures, and editing the text or even the background. It's saves a huge amount of time using the templates.
      Then, snap some shots of your own menu items right on your phone. Upload those pictures into PowerPoint and you can easily edit out the background per the instructional video.
      Here's a link to the bundle that has hundreds of templates: intuitivesignage.com/download-the-menupoint-complete-bundle/
      If you apply RUclips20 during checkout, you'll get a 20% discount on the templates.
      Enjoy!

    Hello, yes, you can easily make a JPG file, put it on a USB memory stick and transfer it to most new model HD TVs. You can pick up a 55in TV at Walmart for under $400. Make sure to get a 1080P resolution. (720P resolution TVs are cheaper but the image is much worse) Just make sure there is a USB port on the back so you can put your thumb drive in there. Also, make sure it will play JPG files. By the way, we also sell HD screens on our website. Our screens are more robust than a TV. Our screens have a tempered glass front and a full media player.
