So is rws not the same in the hornet as the viper? Because it doesn’t give a lock on warning regardless of mode. And you can track two targets with rws with a bigger hit rate and faster lock on speed.

You should increase your scan volume to 2 or 4 bars. 1 bar you have to be damn near the same altitude as the target. If it was a few thousand feet above/below, you would lose it easily. And for small, head on targets you should go to HIGH interleave.
I wouldn't say it's harder, but I wouldn't say it's easier either. Every plane has its hurdles and its easy sides. I'll tell you one thing though, the Hornet is a lot more forgiving in flight and especially landing.

It could be any number of things. Make sure A2A mode is selected, master arm is armed, correct DDI is selected, correct weapon is selected. Also make sure you're locking the actual radar return and not the information from the data link. If it's still not working after you make sure all these things are correct, join our discord and we'll go through it together.
@@MeanStreakGaming How can i tell which things i’m seeing from the data link? cuz on my radar the enemies appear as red things but i can’t lock. aren’t the enemies supposed to be little rectangles or something
@truthfxl That means tours trying to lock the info from the data link. If it's red, it's data link. Needs to be a yellow rectangle to be a radar return.

Yeah hornet is only one target. But they always get a lock on and launch warning in rws.

5:15 is wrong, there is no “warning” you’re in an L+S, and you can fire on 8 different trackfiles. Undsignate to step, fox 3, repeat

Debating on getting the FA18, I have pretty much fully learnt the F16 in A2G and A2A, however, the FA18 looks a lot harder to learn, is this the case

It's a good plane, it was my first FF plane. Speaking of the Supercarrier, I know the Stennis was broken after the 2.9 update.

How do you “unlock” a target?
You have a NWD/undesignate option that you need to map
