    This is NOT how John Lennon played on the recording of “Love Me Do”. He wasn’t using a Diatonic Harmonica (generally called a Blues Harp) as used in this video, but a Chromatic Harmonica in the key of C.
    That is why the person in this video can’t play the important middle-8 of the song, which has the words “someone to love”, etc. In that section, the button on the Chromatic has to be pushed in to get the f# note. (Only a highly expert player can get an f# on a C Blues Harp.)
    So if you want to play the whole song then you need to get a C Chromatic Harmonica!

      Alex Guevara I saw a video I believe from tomlin explaining that you can get more out of at 2 draw then a 3 blow when you start to get good with the tin sandwich. I am just finally getting a sound that isn’t a failed note out of my 2 draw and am loving this song. I am trying to find a tab that plays along with the Beatles though. Keep trying with the 2 draw and eventually you will get it

    • @djrickmendez255
      @djrickmendez255 5 лет назад +7

      You are correct, 2D is the same as 3B. The reason why people choose 2D over 3B is because you can bend the 2D for a more Bluesy sound. Which really wouldn't work on the 3B.

    @John-Evans 3 года назад +2

    Why don't you use a hole 3 blow instead of a hole 2 draw? It would be much easier than going from a hole 4 draw to a hole 2 draw? Obviously, a hole 2 draw is the same not as hole 3 blow. I find it better to play those 3 G notes after the C note on hole 4 blow as
    hole 3 blow then
    hole 2 draw then
    hole 3 blow. That to me gives a sharper cut off between the notes. Try it and see for yourself.
    A diatonic harp always offers an important opportunity to play the same note in two places. Draw hole 2 or blow hole 3. This can and should be used to facilitate playing and avoid the 2 hole draw to 4 hole move. A hole 3 blow is far more easily followed by a 4 hole blow/draw.
