    Always enjoy listenting to Tom E. Curran. Nobody has his finger on the pulse of the Patriots like he does! And I 100% agree with him that players and coaches aren't going to "intentionally lose" to get a higher draft pick.

      @@romeod7549 Look at the state of the league my guy how many defensive coaches are winning superbowls these days? Is Vrabel going to run an elite offense? He would need to hire an elite OC. Those guys typically leave for head coaching gigs after a year the turnover is v high so having one as head coach is a massive advantage. Plus I think your giving Vrabel a ton of credit saying he's proven, he just started looking into analytics this past year and his singular #1 seed season he had a sick O line and prime Derrick Henry. Outside of Pats nation it seems pretty clear Johnson is the top candidate.

    Vrabel went 9 & 9 with Derek Henry and one of the best running games in the league with a team that had way more talent than NE. In his last two years his team was a mess and he got canned. Is that really who we want taking over? Another BB coaching tree member with a losing record? Players don't want to play for the guy and he's no BB. Please go get Ben Johnson. He's a winner he's a far better choice for Drake Mayes development and he's superior to Vrabel on the offensive side of the ball. He can hire a defensive coordinator he trusts to run the defense and stay involved with the offense. Wolf could stay and help Ben get the players he needs. Then Krafts happy and the team has a new direction.

    @Alan-ms3kp 15 дней назад +1

    You don't ask professional athletes to lose. It's that simple and to continue to ask that question is ignorant. Most you can do is put in all the backups and call it a development game.
    Once you ask any athlete to lose on a team sport, you're making a cultural decision that affects every player on that team and trickles down generationally. People talk, even if you were to trade or cut every person on the team to start over you'd have that story permeate the league.
    It would prevent the "good" players from coming here in free agency as well as other problems.

    • @BaronVonMunch

      Within three years, possibly two, the patriots will be making a deep run in the playoffs because of our quarterback. Buffalo was going through the same thing so was Detroit. So many other teams have gone through the same thing for even a much longer longer time, but they never landed that franchise quarterback. Once you get that position, then you can start to turn your team around in a couple years and that’s what the patriots are doing now.

    • @BaronVonMunch
      @BaronVonMunch 15 дней назад

      Depends on who comes in. They have a real potential franchise qb. This is actually the first time they have a chance at something since Brady left. You are winning nothing with Cam Newton and Mac Jones. Basically, like every team, you have to wait until you get a real qb. Then you can start to try to win again. The other years are just a waste.

I was very pissed that we did win that game. I really was. I was so fucking mad. Then when the coach got fired, I was happy because I realized there’s no point of having the number one overall pick if we have a head coach that doesn’t know what to do with it. 4 it’s still a solid pic. We can get a very good tackle or McMillan the receiver who I think is much better than Hunter. Or we can even trade it for a few future first round pics possibly who knows. The Raiders are trying to do anything and everything to get up there to get Ward or Sanders. If Cleveland and Tennessee does not take one of those quarterbacks, I think the Raiders will try to make a deal with the Patriots.
