    Maaaaan that is working 100%
I'm an absolute amateur and managed to pull this off.
Mine needs some tidying up but otherwise it's fabulous
    Thank you

    Hi there!
Thank you for your video. It gives us a solution to a situation that many of us encounter in the workshop.
I followed your instructions and built the system, but I can't get it to work. The "GRT8-B1" unit is always on and only turns off when the current sensing switch detects current.
The link to this last unit is broken, so I looked carefully at the picture and bought the same model, but I don't know if the fault could be there.
    Thank you very much.

Thank you for watching my video and trying to build system. If you need the link of current switch please refer to the link below. and I guess changing Current Sensitivity by turn small knob lets system work properly.

Is your circuit diagram correct? You use a blue wire (negative/neutral) from your machine through the current switch which make sense and you use a red wire (live/positive) from your AC source to your machine.
However when it comes to the other side for the dust collector you use a blue wire from your Dust collector AC supply to terminals A1 and 15 and then a red wire from your Dust collector AC supply to your dust collector and a blue wire from your dust collector to terminal 18. Have you got these juxtaposed, colour wise?
In your video showing the physical build the left hand side is the same as the circuit diagram where you have used a blue wire for neutral/negative and a brown wire (live/positive) in place of the red wire in your circuit diagram. On the right had side you use brown wires (positive/live) from Dust collector AC source to terminals A1 and 15 and a blue wire (neutral/ negative) from your dust collector back to the AC power source. The wiring from the sensor to the timer relay from K1 and K2 are wired identically in both the circuit diagram and the physical build.
My understanding is that for the timer relay A1 is the live/positive side of the coil and A2 is the common/neutral/negative side of the coil. S receives the trigger signal from K2. I am not sure what K2 does or why it is connected to A1. Terminal 15 to16 is a normally closed connection and 15 to 18 is normally open.
When your machine is switched on S receives a signal from K1 due to the current flowing from your machine through the current sensor switch and the timer relay coil is energised. This causes 15-16 to open and 15-18 to close thus allowing current to flow from 18 to the dust collector. When your machine is switched off the signal from K2 to S stops, the timer commences its count down and when the count down completes 15-18 is opened and current stops flowing from 18 to the dust collector.
Am I correct or have I misunderstood how the system works?

Hello, thanks for watching my video and finding differrence between physical build and circuit diagram. If wiring has correct connecting points, physical build works anyway. But I think color differrence makes viewer so confused. I'm sorry for my mistake. If I keep consistency in building right hand side It's easy to understand. It's not K2 but K1 connected to A1 and K1 supplies AC to current switch. As far as I know your understanding about circuit activation is quiet right. To get more info about switch and relay, please refer to link below.
