  • This is the story of the pregnancy of Nahla and Jaden, my two kids. They were born exactly 9 months and 2 weeks apart. There is some footage from the actual birth in this video... along with a bunch of photos.
This was highly requested, which is why I chose to film it. Questions and comments are welcomed, please try to be respectful.
OH also, I meant that I went in to labor at 33/34 weeks, not 32. My bad. I just noticed that while I was watching -post upload.
    Enjoy!

The first time I had sex after having my baby girl I was in so much pain and I didn't even need to tell my partner. He pulled out, gave me a kiss and said he doesn't want to hurt me. Then I cried because I felt bad, he just hugged me and said it doesn't matter and he loves me..... now that is exactly what your partner should of done.

My thoughts exactly. The first time we tried was quite a long time after I gave birth, because I got meningitis not long after my daughter was born so had been in a pretty shabby state for some time, but when my partner sensed that I was tense and apprehensive as he was about to “enter” (apologies for the TMI) he said he couldn’t go any further, and let’s just say that there was physical evidence of that. Disturbing to hear this woman’s story and that her partner happily ploughed away while she was in pain.

@@kcv0605 I'm had that your partner was a gentleman as well. He clearly loves you like the way my partner loves me. It's a shame that some people out there are clearly with or were with the wrong person.
I had torn very badly (front to back) so I had a lot of stitches which took a long time to heel and they 're opened up at one point and I needed more work done. The slightest movement felt like squeezing lemon onto a papercut, so when we attempted sex you can imagine the pain.
A real man can wait, Esspecially if he loves and respects you xxx

@@honeybee7879 ok that might be a little bit un necessary. Pushing birth control just a little. Would recommend getting off the pill (unless it's for other reasons like pain and acne etc..) and getting an IUD, so your body isn't exposed to hormones for no reason. Also with a vasectomy, a condom might be a little extra, especially since it feels better without one so in that case, might as well enjoy the sex as much as you can ;) Again this is all personal preference, but 3 forms of birth control is pushing it

It has nothing to do with it! Believe it or not, most people don't pull people up for stupid comments because they're black, white, or any shade in between. People who bring race into a discussion as an argument tactic are the lowest of low - what a way to bring yourself down.

What are you even talking about? I made a figurative language reference to the folklore protagonist "The White Knight." You know...the hero, usually a prince, and who saves the damsel in distress? His nemesis is usually "The Black Knight."
[And no, I did not make this reference in direct conjunction with your "supposed skin tone." This is not something that is on my mind.]
My comment was in direct reference to your previous comments tone; which, suggested that you were trying to educate me and "save me" from my assumed ignorance. Thus, the white-knighting comment. It's yet another satirical and sarcastic comment. Sheesh, you really do need those classes huh?

It has nothing to do with being fertile but the risk of infection and you can get an air embolism if air gets into the open blood vessels in the uterus that are still healing 😒

When you started talking about Jadens breathing issues it sounded a lot like me. I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when I was 3 weeks old. I had phnemonia when I was 4 years old. I go to my clinic visits every 3 months, they check my breathing levels, pulse and a bunch of other stuff. Every morning and night I need to do my physio which keeps the mucus in my lungs loose and productive. I'm 20 years old now and have only been hospitalized once since I was 4 years old which is unheard of for a CF kid. But when I was hospitalized my breathing capacity was at 65% which was terrifying. But I how Jaden has a happy healthy life!!!

Hello Sarah, your story touched me really deeply. I was shocked, and could not stop thinking of it until I had reached work the next day.......The fact that childbirth can be horribly painful for some women is not what shocked me, but the fact that such a strong beautiful woman like you had to go through this because her boyfriend could not control himself. He should have treated you like a queen after giving birth to his first child, and not treated you like a "doll".....your story made me appreciate my husband so much, and I truly wish you find a person who treats you like the heroine you are!

I started to feel weired movement and had a dream of women telling me I was pregnant so I took a test. It was the fastest pregnancy test result. The experience with my doctor was terrible he wouldn't do an ultrasound i had to waite for a blood test result that said i was fr to 5 weeks and for my obstetrician to tell me i cant see him for a nother three weeks. I wasnt satisfied with that answer so I found a clinic that did it for free last week and found out i was six months.

I'm glad to hear that I wasnt the only one that the epideral didn't work the first time. I did not have the energy to sit thru another one so I just delivered with a half epideral. And girl I hear you on the back pain, I swear my back will forever be jacked up. Thank you for sharing your story. Your kids are beautiful, God bless

Girl, I wish I could give you a hug! As things progressed in the video I’d pause and update my husband. He doesn’t know all of the pregnancy terms stuff, but he felt for you too.

Sarah, I've been watching you for a few years, but I've not seen this one. Thank you for sharing this story. I never knew these things about the babies, although I have heard you hint at different things in more recent videos. This gave me a more full picture of your motherhood journey. Your younger self is proud of the mother you are.❤😊

They do say that when you have babies closer then 18 months apart the second child has a higher risk of health issues

I really don't know why so many people STILL think that you can't get pregnant nursing - There needs to be better education on that topic...

    • @bsidethebox
      @bsidethebox 5 лет назад +3

Yeah. My midwives were talking birth control day one. 😂 They said historically it was pretty good birth control but that had a lot more to do with nutrition (or lack thereof). Now that we've got prenatal vitamins and easily acquired calories, we're nowhere near malnutrition and making milk isn't taking the lions share of depleted/limited resources.

I think it’s great that you can talk about your experience, even the tough parts! My son has reactive airway and once we got his tonsils and adenoids he has improved 80%!! It was the best thing we have done, he still gets sick and has to have treatments but nothing like we experienced before the surgery.

First child, gained 100 lbs, gestational diabetes, so nauseated the whole time (hospitalized 6 times for dehydration due to vomiting), ended up 3 days late, 22 hours of labor, emergency c-section due to severe preeclampsia and seizures (had an epidural), he was 9.5 lbs, got an infection and in the hospital for 11 days after. Doc said, you probably don’t want to do this again... second child (yep I did it again), came 1 month early, water broke, but I never felt a contraction, although the monitor said I should have, repeat c-section, 3 hours of labor (spinal block with this one), he was 8.5 lbs, discharged the next day. Complete opposite experiences! That was 23 (and 25) years ago. I never had afterbirth pains (I think this is due to the c-sections, as they really beat up your uterus so it knows it gave birth - or so the doctor told me), didn’t breastfeed.

Ok we are in the same boat. My two youngest are 10 months apart. My daughter was born 1st at 35 weeks and was in the NICU. Then went to my 6 week check up pregnant lol it was nuts and it was a lot of stress on my bodY. So after 3 kids I tied my tubes.

No judgment at all just curious, why would you think that you' re not fertile after giving birth? Isn't it well known that you have to go back on birth control after giving birth in the states ( if you don't want a baby)? Or is sex Ed not as good in schools?

please do a video about depression and pregnancy and your relationship. I had a rough relationship during and after my pregnancy and still have to deal with my daughters father and the way he treats me still because we are coparenting. I'd love to hear about someone having a similar experience. also please tell us how you got out or your situation.

I absolutely agree that Jaden has/had a lot of issues because of what you went through during the pregnancy. Your joy, fear, anger or whatever emotions are directly transferred to your unborn child. I'm sorry you went through so much that brought on so much stuff to your son. I'm sure he's dearly loved however, so I pray that those symptoms and tendencies for sickness disappear. Much love to you.

I don't know why I clicked on your video, but dang! I can't stop watching! I so identify with some of what you are saying. I get the after birth pains, the back pain from epidural, and the depression. You are a rockstar, just a rockstar. My heart hurts for you that you don't have a supportive husband, you deserve all that and more. Awesome, just awesome! My boys have had more medical issues than my girls, that is the norm. Don't beat yourself up about that.
