This was my first time seeing her live. I had always been a fan of Ari, but having the opportunity to see her live was a blessing. Little did we know months later that everything would shut down and cause artists including Ari to not go on tour until 2022 at least. I was in the very front by the speakers on the right side of the stage in this video because my friend is half deaf, so he had special access to the very front (even in front of the front audience where they put up the metal fence so people can't access the stage) so he could hear the music through the vibrations/beats of the speakers. I almost didn't get the chance to be that close to the stage because I had originally gone with a different group of friends. They decided they wanted to go to Shaq's DJ mosh pit, but knowing I'm 5'5 I knew I was gonna get my ass beat so I didn't join them. I went off to meet up with my friend who's half deaf and his girlfriend whom I was also friends with. They told me how close they were able to get to the stage because of his hearing disability. He had invited me to join them to see Kacey Musgraves which was the artist who performed before Ariana Grande at the same stage. Besides me wanting to join because they were friends of mine I wanted to catch up with, I also love Kacey so of course I tagged along. After her performance, she was right in front of us about an arms length away saying hi to people in the crowd. Then Ariana came out and performed...just wow...it was such an incredible experience seeing her for the first time live. I'll never forget it :)
The way she goes “it lingers when we’re done” at the end gets me every time 😫😫 so beautiful
