I just visited last month on bushiness trip to Singapore. Agree your expensive city concept. But comparable to India the living atmosphere with our surrounding's is the Great. I do have a lot of friends in Singapore (Not Indians) due to my professional. If my next opportunity comes to visit Singapore, just we can meet in Little India (Mustafa Centre)
This is 7 months ago now inflation is skyrocketing but as a Singaporean who had travelled the World Singapore is still the best country to be and its Home truly! 🏠🇸🇬
Safest country i agree i live in jurong side. Education is best here. Expensive country i agreed but thought process nirmala mam maari budget think pannaal we can save minimum 1000$ per month apart from all expenses.

How to find rental houses or flats in Singapore
Singapore is depend on tourisms revenue only..
Few more inputs:
1. If you stay in condo, parking is free. No season parking required.
2. If you have a maid, easily add 1000$ per month incl levy. It is about 60000 rupees.
3. Eating out in good restaurants twice in a month. 100$ in total.
4. If you have a baby (not school going), add about 1000$ more
5. If school going add 2500$ more
If there is a kid then the graph changes exponentially

My sister in bukit panjang is urgently searching for a 3 bhk HDB within a maximum of 3500$. Can you suggest some rental houses as per the nessicities?. Thank you ma'am and all.
For condominium you wld have to pay maintenance fee AVG about $350 per mth. Gov car parking is only about $90 per mth.
So far in the condos I lived, maintenance is paid by owner. I think that’s the general practice

The COE for a car and bike there’s a Huge difference. It’s no where near comparable to own a car and bike in Singapore. You must be earning well.

Apart from rental and car and house installments, other things are not expensive in Singapore. It is only expensive if you choose to live a luxurious lifestyle. Simple food and other essential items are not costly. The inflation rate in SG is much lower than India because SGD is a very strong currency. This is my personal opinion being a person who has been in SG for 22 years.

Expensive is not the Singapore issue ! It’s because of our currency , so weak in the world 😂. In China also , rent is about 1 to 2 L per month 😢.

In Mumbai also 1 l to 2 lakh. It also depends on which city you live in. You cannot survive in Chennai with 20k rs. Because rent alone is 10k .
