My theory: before Toki became their new rhythm guitarist and Magus was their rhythm guitarist, I believe that Magnus bossed skwisgaar around and tried to tame his guitar skills even though when we now know that skwisgaar is deemed the best and in the song “The Hammer” Magnus’s guitar riffs sounded evil and I think he was leading in that song considering he named the song after himself. When Magnus was kicked out, I guess this gave skwisgaar and the band a sense of freedom now that they can play how they want and in Doomstar Requiem, Skwisgaar says that they don’t need another guitarist but we know how that ended and I also think that Magnus’s bossy attitude rubbed off on Skwisgaar, Thus giving us the character we know today
