generally inspectors are only sent when there's drama or if someone reports it to their services
@@klayman2 Pretty much this, most inspectors offices haven't increased their staff counts in decades so as cities grow they become laughably understaffed and only respond to complaints rather than actually check up on places proactively
It's a drug money laundry motel and the inspectors are bribed. (I made this up)

I had them about a year and a half ago. Was not very poggers. My mom tore my room apart and washed all my sheets and clothes in the washer like 4 times a day for a month. I slept in the living room on an air mattress. The poison used to kill the bedbugs is still in the corners and cracks of my room

I was a General Manager for Motel 6. Can confirm sketchy cleaning policies and the budgets are so tight that my housekeepers had to use dirty or damaged blankets and top covers. Pillow theft meant using pillows nobody should have to because every time we put a new pillow in a room someone stole it. I caught one housekeeper selling drugs, another smoking in a non smoking room while she cleaned, and another selling herself. One of my staff was almost kidnapped while I worked there. I saw a guy die in a fire, had a man with no legs shit on himself in one of my rooms. Oh yeah. Thats not even mentioning the suicide attempts, constant danger from criminal activity, being propositioned be crackhead hookers, getting in 2 seprate fights with people who werent even renting rooms and to top it all off, i was only getting paid 42k a year to live in that hell working 12 hour days normally and an occasional 20+ hour day when staff didnt show up with no overtime because i was a salary employee.

Only pest I've had is fruit flies when I forgot about some kiwis I had in the fridge and more recently when there was like flies in my kitchen but idk why since It was clean
If I ran a hotel I would just buy tons of Automatic Air Fresheners or Oil diffusers than you don't have to worry about smells and they less attractive for roaches and mice as it's the smell what's attracting them
I never have to worry about my house smelling as it's automatic it's hard for me to smell it most the time but it's there
I'm not trying to sound like a karen but dude that place needs to be shut down cause they 100% broke all health protocols and I think more honestly so yeah I think that needs to be shut down and soon cause as we had all seen that they had never even cleaned up the rooms or changed anything once so ever so honestly I think it needs to be shut down who's with me on this cause that's not ok for a hotel or motel.

so report it, generally inspectors visit when there's multiple reports to their services, but otherwise they dont just go around visiting random places

I would have put every roach in a jar and filmed it. Then took the jar to the service desk and asked for a refund. When the refused I would have just dumped that shit out. Even at $55 I don't think the entertainment of that would cover the cost though.

At least you got a fridge and a microwave AND ice bucket. I stayed at one for $50 in a fairly nice area in Louisville. It looked about the same. Although, much more cracking in the walls. We had rats, legitimate rats instead of roaches 🥲👍
