Sanjit, I watch all of your videos on this channel and really appreciate your perspective, honesty, and also giving credit when credits due. Many of us in raider nation felt AOC was a better option than Minshew, but they gave the job to Minshew. There’s been lots of talk about Minshew’s confidence and trying to lift him up but I was more concerned about Aidan’s confidence and the downside of not giving him the shot he earned with his play last year and then being pretty even with Minshew in preseason. All that talk about the starting job being Aidan’s to lose was BS and it turned out to be the opposite. Thank you for giving AP the credit he deserves, he didnt miss 3 field goals or fumble, this team has not quit on him, if we just had Koonse, Wilkins and AOC all year this team would be so much better team
I say we keep AOC build up our oline, get a number one wide reciver, free agent rb, add more pieces to the defense. More importantly we need a good offensive coordinator. Remember Ward, Saunders aren't gonna be a sure guarantee if we do draft a QB. Ever thought they bust then we'll be in no better position that we are in now. If we JPJ didn't f up the snap we would be talking about how we gave another loss to the Chiefs again at Arrowhead
AOCs 1st game not under Getsy! That's the key...Turners are doing wonders for our offense. Not saying they fixed it but making sense of our weapons. I'd like to see if AOC can pan out too but I'd give him a small leash to prove himself. Cam Ward looks wat better than AOC.
You know what's funny? All of the Aidan haters have pointed out that he didn't complete a pass in the last 3 quarters of last years game. I would point out that they won, which is ultimately the QB's job. Are those people going to now say he should be the starter because he played well, but lost? He should be the QB. Mortgaging the franchise on a 1st rounder, that historically has failed, is not a good idea. Bowers and JPJ are perfect examples of drafting the best player.
I know everyone talked shit about us not getting a qb and getting Bowers in the draft but this kid is unbelievable and everyone should be eating there words he's a beast
Why they started Minshew at the beginning of the season over O'Connell is a mystery to me. Aiden was obviously superior to Minshew in reading defenses, accuracy, arm, running the offense, pocket presence, getting rid of the ball fast, touch, etc. I'm glad he got to show what he could do, and he doesn't get scared under pressure.
We need to draft a Tackle or defensive player to pair with Hobbs. #12 is the next #12. Don’t waste the 1st pick on a QB. Watch 6min 20sec mark of the post-game presser. #leader #followJesus
I wanted Aiden to win the starting job this season…he should have been the starter and he should be the guy next season…even if we draft a QB give him a year to develop while we fix other positions then let him compete with Aiden year 2 and may the best QB win
if AOC balls out the rest of the season the raiders should just draft travis hunter i dont see any of the rookies driving down field with a minute left and outplaying mahomes like that.
You are on point once again Sanji. Like you mentioned it is definitely time to evaluate AOC. I hate to beat a dead horse I mentioned previously to tear everything down again after one year would be detrimental . The only time a quarterback can flourish is keeping him in the same system. Cam Newton earlier today made an interesting observation regarding that fact, he had mentioned changing systems is detrimental to the development of any quarterback. He was speaking in the context of the Bears quarterback, but the principals are the same in all situations. It’s going to be interesting.
If you guys didn’t watch this game on prime vision you missed out! Holy shit watched the first time with this game and it will show you the whole field and you can see the whole play develop, there where plenty of misses by AOC but a lot times he has great awareness that pressure is a killer tho
It was on Aiden looking away, but it was because Meyers was lineup offsides on the outside and Brock was instructing him to get on the line or behind. That caused AOC to look in that direction, but AOC did clap his hand before to let Parnam he is ready to snap the ball.
@@peacefulrelaxation7885 At the post-game presser AOC just admitted his clap signaled to JPJ to snap the ball. Either AOC is too nice or he's just willing accept he's at fault for the accidental snap.
A few things. 1st, Zamir had a great final 4 games last year. The reason he won coming out of camp is because he was the one seed going into camp and they probably had a bias towards him because he helped him win games. And you're the o line guy, it looked like the reason they were able to run The ball is because we went back to power blocking instead of the zone scheme. I'm asking, is that true? 2nd, i really think the reason Gardner got the job at the beginning of the season was because the first 4 teams we were playing had great pass rushes and they thought aidens feet stuck in the mud wouldn't work well. Lol. And by the way, I don't know why nobody sees this. The reason aiden's better than gardner is because gardner is too short. He can't see guys that are open. He can't throw to the middle of the field because he can't see over the line. I'm a big, measurables guy, size, speed, strength, and for me. I want my quarterback to be at least six foot four. I know there are exceptions, but if you look at the top ten quarterbacks of all time, pretty much all of em Are 6' 4 and up. 3rd, the raiders have a long history of picking up other people's "broken toys" and fixing them. This goes back to the nineteen sixties, it's what we do. The d lineman, Ican't remember his name, number forty four. So he was a measurables guy. I believe he was pick tenth overall.Because he's strong and freakishly fast. That's clearly a guy you wanna pick up and see if you can fix him. And then jack jones obviously had a history with a p. But to say a p, picked those guys is silly. A p doesn't pick players, tom telesco, does. He may ask him, what do you think about this guy or that guy, but telesco picks the players and then the defensive staff works with them. 4th, not sure but I think Carlson misses were from 58, 56 & 58. And finally, why is ap not catching any heat for running A play with eighteen seconds left and no timeouts. You couldn't throw the ball in the middle of the field. The game would end . Youcant run the ball, same reason. the chiefs were going to take the outside of the field away.So you weren't going to get a completion to the sidelines. He said he just wanted to throw it to the sidelines. To run some clock, but you risk a fumble, which is what happened. Kick the field goal on 3rd down. Now it's down to 14 seconds. Kick off,. It's down to ten. Then give patrick mahomes ten seconds to go down the field and score, good luck with that. The one thing that Al Davis would have fired coaches immediately for, it was unforgivable to him, was clock Mismanagement, he felt a head Coach has to be able to manage the clock and if he can't do that, he can't be a head coach in the n.F.L. Al would fire a p today.
Scout the hell out of the QBs in the draft. Pick the guy that checks all your boxes. If he isn’t there at your spot, or you can’t trade up, then draft the best player available. Keep Norv and Scott too.
I remember when the Raiders could force teams to go to a silent count. Now the Chiefs and Broncos have an extra home game every year because of nature of being in Las Vegas. Horrible, horrible move.
AOC did not surprise me. He showed me what he can do when he has time in the pocket last year, 63 points against the chargers. 🎯Trade down in the draft and get the next elite safety . Palo-mao is not the answer
Per AOC , he was at fault this was a silent count , he clapped his hands to signal Powers to hike the ball but was looking to the side when the ball was snapped.
I think if the raiders would have committed to AOC, developed him, and rolled him out day one w/a decent OC, the raiders would be in playoff contention right now
Werent you trashing Aiden on X saying he can't create during the pass rush? Yea and Minshew could but he looked like trash all season. Being able to "Scramble" doesn't make a good QB. Learn it.
Because Getsy's 2 years of the Bears was overlooked compared to Scott's 2 years with the Commanders. Honestly, I don't really like it either, but Getsy was part of a winning franchise as a positions coach in Green Bay for as long as he was, and that's probably why he was able to get away with it until even AP realized he was clearly the problem with the offense.
Sanjit - game management is still a big issue - not declining to make it 3x15 vs. 2x20, giving Mahomes 2 shots and not challenging that OBVIOUS first down 3x5 run and then just getting stuffed on 4th down. Got to get better in this area.
When are we planning on extending players Myers, Spilane? Are we waiting to the end of the season where theyll hit free agency and get payed more by another team?

Thank you for giving AP the credit he deserves, he didnt miss 3 field goals or fumble, this team has not quit on him, if we just had Koonse, Wilkins and AOC all year this team would be so much better team
True but he didn't try the fg at the end. Carlson is very good and he usually hits that at the end.
And we shouldn’t have let Jacobs walk
I say we keep AOC build up our oline, get a number one wide reciver, free agent rb, add more pieces to the defense.
More importantly we need a good offensive coordinator.
Remember Ward, Saunders aren't gonna be a sure guarantee if we do draft a QB. Ever thought they bust then we'll be in no better position that we are in now.
If we JPJ didn't f up the snap we would be talking about how we gave another loss to the Chiefs again at Arrowhead
That wasn't on JPJ. Aidan clapped his hands, then looked away.
Why didn't AP take the winning fg on the final play? Carlson had a bad day but he usually hits that one at the end
That was Aidens' fault he called for the snap
@@tonycox529 Parham slap JPJ for the indication of the snap. Aidan realized that Meyers wasn't set while clapping. It's on Parham.
@@Robert-fs6ge Are you calling Aidan a liar?
AOCs 1st game not under Getsy! That's the key...Turners are doing wonders for our offense. Not saying they fixed it but making sense of our weapons.
I'd like to see if AOC can pan out too but I'd give him a small leash to prove himself. Cam Ward looks wat better than AOC.
An illegal shift is a dead ball penalty.
It's impossible to fumble on a dead ball penalty.
Just saying.
He missed 2 fg all season . 3 in one game. 50+ he money. , Carlson had a bad day at the office.
AP should have taken the winning fg at the end
I know everyone talked shit about us not getting a qb and getting Bowers in the draft but this kid is unbelievable and everyone should be eating there words he's a beast
Why they started Minshew at the beginning of the season over O'Connell is a mystery to me. Aiden was obviously superior to Minshew in reading defenses, accuracy, arm, running the offense, pocket presence, getting rid of the ball fast, touch, etc. I'm glad he got to show what he could do, and he doesn't get scared under pressure.
Bro....We should have won this game!!!
I was happy with the play calling.
Holy shit watched the first time with this game and it will show you the whole field and you can see the whole play develop, there where plenty of misses by AOC but a lot times he has great awareness that pressure is a killer tho
i’m glad we showed we could beat em and still kept our draft chances high 😂😂😂😂
The ending to this game still baffles me.
It was on Aiden looking away, but it was because Meyers was lineup offsides on the outside and Brock was instructing him to get on the line or behind. That caused AOC to look in that direction, but AOC did clap his hand before to let Parnam he is ready to snap the ball.
You don't know what you're talking about.
Clapping doesn't mean hike .what are you talking about
@@peacefulrelaxation7885 it does in a silent count which they were in the last drive. Watch the tape.
@@peacefulrelaxation7885 At the post-game presser AOC just admitted his clap signaled to JPJ to snap the ball. Either AOC is too nice or he's just willing accept he's at fault for the accidental snap.
Illegal shift dead play
Gotta keep AP and keep Aiden he’s been a baller he just plays better in big time games he should been the starter been telling sanjit
Ap game management is gonna continue being a liability
Yep. If Reid is our coach he kicks the winning fg at the end. Carlson is a good kicker
I remember when the Raiders could force teams to go to a silent count. Now the Chiefs and Broncos have an extra home game every year because of nature of being in Las Vegas. Horrible, horrible move.
1 luv✊🏽RN4L🏴☠️
Sanjit please fix your camera, its been crooked for the last few videos man, thank you for the content though 👍
If AoC plays well. We should get Travis Hunter
That's leadership. Taking responsibility for ones mistakes. I've been saying that Aidan should be the starter since the end of last season.
Minshew never had a chance because the Raiders didn’t want him as their QB. Plain and simple.
They started him because they paid too much for him. Minshew was never going to be a legitimate starter in this league.
Aoc did well throwing against a good chiefs defense
Sincere McCormick is by FAR our best RB. I dont want to see Mattison taking anymore snap.
Ap has an eye for Tallent imo
A loss is a loss. How many times will we say "Should have won the game?" Raiders are not going to win with Antonio Pierce.
Looks like they are fighting their butts off still tho 🫡
I think if the raiders would have committed to AOC, developed him, and rolled him out day one w/a decent OC, the raiders would be in playoff contention right now
Werent you trashing Aiden on X saying he can't create during the pass rush? Yea and Minshew could but he looked like trash all season. Being able to "Scramble" doesn't make a good QB. Learn it.
So 1 game makes u a good QB ?? Stop it 😂
I love what i seen with Mccormick
Would've won had Carlson made just one of those kicks
One of those missed field goals is Aoc fault by running back 11 yards before finally being brought down
Maybe they didn’t decide Minshew was better then AOC but maybe AOC was taking to long to learn the new Offensive scheme
This team sucks so bad it’s not even worth getting mad about anymore. Just watch the dysfunction unfold and laugh
I like Scott Turner why didn't they just make him the oc from the get go
Because Getsy's 2 years of the Bears was overlooked compared to Scott's 2 years with the Commanders.
O’Connell won the job in August. Minshew never should’ve started.
AOC 4 MVP
didn’t agree with most of the commentary, but hey.
we’re all searching for answers and a way to win again.
I told you about Sincere McCormick
AP should have kicked that ball on third down 15 seconds left.
It's our own mistakes that are beating us. Winning teams do not allow these things to happen.
When are we planning on extending players Myers, Spilane? Are we waiting to the end of the season where theyll hit free agency and get payed more by another team?
