ItsJustMeSyd 193 there are plenty of tutorials online showing how to add pockets to dresses. Also, kind of unrelated but Bernadette Banner’s latest video was a formal evening gown that she managed to add large pockets into, so you really can put pockets in any dress.
But idk why I would wear a dress. I literally hate them so much

Is it? I didn't wear a suit, but I had nice dress pants, a white shirt, and a tie. Does that count? (It was a really small and cheap gathering. I had it at the nursing home so my grandmother could attend, so I didn't see the point of a lot of money for a suit.)

I just realized we both have a sad boy hours’s playlists and it was lol
Ignore the “bad luck” people. Maybe some day we can throw off some of these superstitions and questionable “traditions” and people can do what they want, instead of what a multi million dollar industry tells them they *should* want. For me it was more important to “be” married than to “get” married and it was very freeing. Do whatever makes the two of you happy.
Also, I would like to add the idea of engagement rings,, they don't need to be expensive or have diamonds
I don't have an engagement ring. I wore a green dress. It's what made us happy 😊
Here's a "fun" fact for you: part of the reason there's a superstition that it's bad luck to see a bride in her wedding dress before the wedding is to stop a potential groom from seeing his bride until the last possible minute. This stopped men dipping out on marriages because they didn't think the woman's looks were to his taste. Of course, this was the case when marriage and children were political pawns or prearranged/prepaid for.

this is honestly really weird that foreign couples aren’t allowed to see each other in their wedding attires before the actual wedding day. where i grew up both the partners HAVE to be in the fitting or else the marriage would fall apart or something😔

It’s kind of a horrible tradition. I think it’s because if the groom sees the bride before an arranged wedding and they don’t like the look of her they might run away...

I kind of see it as, I'd want to make it a surprise. Like if someone came into the kitchen while I was wrapping a present or decorating their birthday cake. I'd probably ask not to see him either and just trust friends to make sure we don't clash

I think every person that wears dresses or skirts loves pockets. In my sister's wedding, my sister pointed out to my auntie that my auntie dress had pockets, and about(3/4) women freaked out in that little room.

I often wonder how much of your "true" self shows or how much of what we see is an artificial RUclips personality. From what I can see in your videos the two of you are absolutely awsome people. I think the most important thing about your own wedding is how it makes you and your partner feel, more important than tradition or others expectations. I wore a simple summer dress that was mint green with black polka dots, and I felt amazing in it.
The kind of wholesome content I need after talking to my grandma... You two are so cute together and seeing the both of you being so happy and lovey dovey is everything I need in my life 😍🤭
