Looks like a nice machine. Good to see you back Jim, hope all is well with you and the family! Just curious, what’s the amp draw on the unit when running on 120v?
Still using my old weldpak 100 I bought from my welding instructor over twelve years ago. Looking to upgrade though. Have you run innershield through the 211 yet?
The 180 dual is, if I’m not mistaken, (I used to own one) is a transformer type machine; whereas, the 211 is an inverter. The 180c dual will eat a lot more power and give you less output. I have owned two 210MP’s (inverter as well) and they are far superior to the 180.
When plugged into a 120V outlet, must it be a 20 Amp circuit or will it work on a 15 Amp circuit (without burning my house down)? If it will work on 15 Amp circuits, it will be very useful for small jobs.
I just checked the lincoln website and they list it as needing a 20amp circuit if you want the max output using 120v. But you can still use it with the 15amp circuit if you plan to stay on the lower output or welding thinner materials.
Are you going to test the 215 MPi? That machine is already out, Welding supplies from IOC has them for $1,299.00. Looks just like the 215 MPi minus the digital display and no stick welding. I do own the 215 MPi and so far is more accurate than the 210.
Just got mine this afternoon. Love its simplicity and power
I liked the clean sound of the arc from start-up. Good
Glad to see you Jim, its been awhile. Looks like a sweet little machine. Thanks for the video, Ed
good to see you again
The settings looked spot on to me too.
Great review. Son just started first year of college for welding.. Looks like a great Christmas gift.. Miss seeing your videos.
Nice job, Machine looks great
I have the 210MP. I’ve been using it a lot.
Good to see you Jim! Excellent review! If I was in the market for another welder......lol....well, you just never know! 😊❤👍
Nice I like the new setup on the turn dials verse the 210 which I own. It's a awesome machine 110 and 220 volts works good off a generator as well.
It's available online. I purchased last week, and made a video review.

You can send it my way.😉😀 They should have these at Maker Camp next year.
Excellent Ecuador 🇪🇨
What’s the duty cycle on it?
It looks good and sounds good though 👍👍

Welcome back, it’s been too long. I surprise they did not give you a welding cap.
Wut do you set your gauges for your gas at?
Can you braze with silicon bronze wire?
Like the looks of the machine thanks for sharing
I’m in the market of getting my 1st welder for small mobile jobs would you recommend this one? Or could any one point me in the right direction?
Id like to see it run .045 wire. My Miller 211 I've had for 6 years now only runs up to .035 wire
Hey Jim, hope you came through the hurricane alright.
Great video thanks. I am between this 211i and the power mig 180c dual. Which one is better?
I like the 211

@@williamthomas9463 thanks, yeah I will go with the 211i.
I haven't used my MIG machine in years - Those 5kg rolls of wire are rare and expensive here, and so are the tiny gas bottles. Stick was cheaper.

@@toyotrustPR OK, cool. Thanks.

Well, it's not about need so much as it is about WANT!
Great Video, Jim! Arccaptain wants to invite you to test our TIG200P welder machine. Would you be interested in giving it a try?
Sweet, but still outside the price point for this home gamer. :(
But made in Mexico.
And?? Nobody cares anymore, it works and works VERY well.
Okbutitscolsthanchina!!!!
Just get the Miller 211, made in the USA, support American jobs not Mexican jobs 🎉
