Yeah it's always fun to go to places like this. Thanks for watching!
Fun!! I just love your road trips!!
Reminds me of Zerns in Gilbertsville
Rick was like a kid in a candy store
Absolutely loved this clip.
I love your town!
I love going to this mall when I lived up north.
Yes it's great! Thanks for watching Lynne!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
i like olive loaf any olive loaf there?
I'm sure they have that.
was the food good rick
Gosh that looks like a fun place ... so much to see, so little time ... or is it so little money, LOL. Shaved meat, they just don't know how to do that out here in California, I go to the deli counter at the markets and always ask for ham "shaved", it always comes in full slices and when I complain they say "we can't make it any thinner". Ugh Everything looked yummy, and tell Kathy, I'm jealous of those pig ears. Thanks for taking us along.
👍😁👍
In the east coast it's called "chipped"
I have the same problem. No, I DON'T want the thinnest slice, I want it shredded. It's possible.
Try harder
Thanks Rick and Cathy, living in Allentown, I was not there in 25 years as well.
Hey Rick remember the hobbit hole back in the day?
Yes I do remember that place. I was thinking about it when I was there. The good old days.
You think its nice now, you should of saw it in the 70s.Q- mart is the best!! 😃😃👍✌❤
Yeah I used to go there then too. I loved it. So much fun.
@@RickMammana Definitely. The last time i was at Q-Mart was before the Coronavirus hit.2 weeks after i was there, the virus hit.Havent been there since. My friends and my brother have been down to visit Q-Mart.My brother said that there were alot of people not wearing masks walking around outside by the flea market tables.I told my brother that i wont go near Q-Mart untill this virus goes away.I hope they get a vacine out that will kill this virus for good.👍Time will tell.Stay safe.✌✌✌😃
I use to go to the Q Mart all the time before I moved to Florida. I love that place. It makes me home sick! Thanks for the video!
I live in FL too so I am also homesick.
Super day out. Thanks for the trip. We may have another destination when we use our timeshare. We often go to flea markets when in PA. but they are open only on weekends. You wonder why Americans are overweight. Googling Quakertown . Ok read they are open weekends only too! Google maps says 1 hr drive from timeshare resort. I drive a lot on vacation. Wife checked it out today......definitely going here thanks!
That place is awesome!! I’d go broke just buying all the chocolate candy and fudge. No way you could’ve left without the chocolate covered bacon. Those looked more like elephant ears than pig. Thanks for sharing😃
It's always fun to go there, like I said since the early 80's. The bacon was so good. :)
BEst sticky buns ever
wow this farmers market is HUGE, how many shops are in it, do you know that?
No, I couldn't say how many are there. Maybe on their website they might say.
That fried chicken you saw at the first stand. Will and Colin love the jo jo potatoes from there!
Nice trip,, we've got one like that in Ohio,, just south of Columbus BUT they do not have that much meat if eney.. that place is huge we don't have a bakery like that either,, a small bakery how in the hell do they keep the meat from going bad and the bakery looks like there would be a lot of waste and that would hurt with paying rent and making money drive me crazy to think about that it's my ADHD..
I'm going to have to check that out when we go to PA again.
The Q-Mart!!
Kolarobi is soo good n that was a decent price. Like a cabbage family yet apple like. I love beets too.
Went there as a kid growing up outside philly, moved west 30 years ago and only recently been back that way on our family vacation, wanted to go to the QuakerTown flea market But ran out of time
Kola Rabi, is great peeled and sliced into medallions, with a little salt and pepper! Also great in soup or stews! Kinda cabbage tasting! Good stuff!
Sorry probably spelled that wrong! Opps 😝
Love the Grandma's 50's Cafe there. Army/Navy store is one of the best I've ever seen. B's pickles, and don't forget to stop at the "secret ingredient" bakery. It's a secret !!
I would love a place like that where I live. Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing! Please keep the videos coming
That flea market was fantastic. It's better than the mall we have here in cape Girardeau mo. Thanks so much for sharing you and Kathy's time there. Take care and God bless.
This is very interesting and not at all what I pictured it to be. Looks FUN and that Pennsylvania Dutch pastry looks dangerously wonderful. Great meat selection too - So Fresh! Thanks for taking us along! 👍🤗❤️
Won't the bacon festival let you in anymore?
👍🤪🥓
I love places like this. The big farmer and flea markets.
They are becoming tougher and tougher to find. Had one about 5 miles from my house growing up. They leveled it about 10 years ago. It is now a Super Wal-Mart. Go Figure :(:(
Hi Rick and Kathy, thank you for sharing your Q Market adventure. I loved all the choices of the goods and foods. It looks like a great place to people watch, too. We don't have anything like that here, just the farmers market. Thanks!! ♥👍☺
WOW you brought back memories.. I remember getting those sticky buns with nuts and raisins... Stopping in wawa to get milk and eating them on the way home.. In the 70s I got a transitter radio for 25 cents played all summer long... I got to my hubby up there one sunday no rain.. Thanks for the memories😄😄😄😄
I had a little transistor radio too. I loved it so much.
You didn't get no Scrapple Meat
I still have some here.
Looks neat! Reminds me of 7 mile fair up here! But yours is a lot better!😊
