I just played your game. it looks nice and fun, but I would add a small tutorial in the beginning. I was lost on how to approach the game. I just added random ingredients and waited a bit to see anything happens, until I realized I had to click the pot to cook something lol overall great game you guys made. For hiring in a game company, it is difficult at first but eventually I know you may hit a good one. I suggest selling a game through steam or Epic if possible? :) this game may sell well because it is comfortable and relaxing to play. even with my current stress i felt relax lol

We kinda just skimmed over it for time issues, and hoped we could leave it out as the game focuses on exploration and discovery through trial and error, but teaching the basics should still not be left out. I dont think I'll be making a video on this game simply because I'm not really a gamedev and we don't really have any footage of this game being in progress :D So I just wanted to give a short summary instead. I have a game design friend and a game developer friend who took care of the technical stuff and put in many cool easter eggs. I met them at Uni. If i remember it correcty I came up with an idea to make a cute simple cooking game because I like cooking and drawing food. We just wanted to make something small, nothing too ambisious, overall it took us 3-6 months. We were working on it when we could. I made the illustrations in Adobe illustrator and the others brought it to life in Unity. I'm a graphic designer/illustrator so Adobe is my second language :D We also made a big mind map that shows what happens if you combine this with that. So yeah this is more or less :) Hope it answers some questions or was interesing

But watched this video and it was very nicely made. That "gigantic line waited d & n" game is an upcoming Chinese console game(a genre they rarely do as they mostly focus on mobile games) which has presumably fist class everything, including exquisite FX and characters and environments and animations and combats and special transformation of monsters and players and unique music, and original and realistic designs. The gameplay and trailer videos go viral. Then it is highly anticipated worldwide.

Hah! I randomly saw one of your Videos about speaking german for a whole Day a few months ago. Then I was at gamescom on wednesday and I thought I saw you stepping onto the escalator! I told my Partner about this coincidence and searched my RUclips for 10 Minutes to find that random video again. When I finally showed him, he said: Nah, it wasn't her. So I set the bell for your channel, because I was certain IF you had been there, there will be a video about it. And here it is. 😂
This is great but in the future i would advise against using the "Unity" engine because as of recent they are demanding some sorta royalty per download.
Being a gamer for last 16 years now, i was very excited to see you making such a well made report of this great game event, but a little sad ro find you are not in games, most of the games you mentioned are all great games, and your game is too late these kind of games of food & recipes have been made like 100 games every year since 2014-2016. But all the best, and all i can say is welcome to gaming world.
This is a very cool experience. Would love to see if you can make a video on how you inspire yourself for graphic designing or the way you use illustrator to create them.

100% agreed! Unity is doing some shady stuff and we will definitely stay away from it if it keeps going into this direction.
