It's been a problem for years - I love my team but some of the fans are total assholes. If a player doesn't fire in the first two games the fans get on their back and it's almost impossible to recover.

@@ikennanwThere is no top club that use academy players to form their first team squad or can you mention one? Chelsea have at least five academy players playing regularly in the first team. I think it's fair enough. Playing only academy players will turn Chelsea to an average mid table club.

We’ve literally handed out the 2nd most minutes to academy graduates last season and would’ve easily been 1st if Trev Reece and colwill weren’t out with long term injuries. U guys are too hyperbolic about the pathway to the 1st team for the youth players. It’s better than basically any other team in the league.
