Anime fighting games Mission/Combo modes are always so fun to do. If you're not good at execution and tight dashes mid combo you sure as hell will be after lmao. Glad Sajam's playing this, I'm a huge fan of BB and GG but have never played this before and it looks really good.
bit late but french bread’s stuff has some very very good stuff to sink your teeth into and really get a feel for how the game plays, you won’t have much actual match knowledge but it breaks one of the barriers of entry very well
@@nonexistent2112 UNICLR is the improved version including 1000+ patches according to French Bread (Game Developers) and it should include 4 more characters like the previous ones although they have only revealed one new character it's very likely 3 more will appear just like in UNIEL and UNIST.
A lot of the combo challenges are more so about teaching you the the basic starters, filler, and enders. With alot of characters you can find more damaging routes or routes that lead to better Oki (or both), by checking Mizuumi and other resources, or by experimenting.
I don't know who's the asshole in Bandai Namco that keeps the tutorial mode trash whenever they make it pass. They're being intentionally ambiguous about the game mechanics, and I don't think it's an only Harada decision. :(
that combo where they wanted sajam to get exactly 8 hits? it added 132 damage compared to when he did the combo with 7 hits. that’s roughly 1.3% of the life bar extra damage. game changer 😂
dude you're funny af. I'm runnin through your vids after stumbling upon this game and I really hope I don't just hit a point where they stop with no context as to why. Thanks for these vids!
Sounds like "sore sore sore" to me, which is kind of hard to explain, but I guess you could equate it to yelling "boom" or some shit when you hit a thing. You hear it a lot in festival music where the listeners will accent big notes by yelling "sore" in time as encouragement to the performers. I'm not fluent or anything but as far as I know the chant itself doesn't mean anything. Mind you, "sore" is the word for "that" (close to listener, far from speaker).
I love how the screen got darker as he was doing the combo as if it was increased depression with each drop
The Many Stages of Grief
😁😄😃😀😐☹️😞😔😭💀👻
Imagine being a Nanase main and you had to listening to hours of Nanase Theme in training/mission mode. I'm so numb to that track now.
I think you can change the music though
Or just mute it
I just mute it and listen to my own stuff
I mute the game and just play other music. I realized an hour in already going jnsane
I do love all of the music in this game but as a nanase main I’m super sick of it
why do people hate her theme? I just started and I like all of them

Just bought the game and I’m really feeling Wagner and Hyde. So much fun in their combos.
Well yh they are probably the easiest characters in the game

Indeed. The exception is Vatista, whose 4-1 you'll be converting into constantly.
I wish tekken had a combo mode

I mean, they give some sample combos in training mode, but yeah it's far from what the standard is in every other game
9:54 is literally me after 3 days of trying seth and this character.....but its too addicting.

There's also the maximum training wheels option: battle speed. At 50% it's so easy.... wish I had this in guilty gear.
Akatsuki is my favorite because he is just so god damn satisfying. He's like Enkidu where when you HIT THAT **YEET** you fuckin BUST a F A T one.
Finally got UNIST for my birthday today! I’m really loving it!
These thumbnails only keep getting better and better
Byakuya is such a cool character, being a mixture of setplay and rushdown.
HAHAHAHAHA!
_SORE SORE SORE SORE!_
I’ve never seen any gameplay for UNIST before but this looks really fucking fun
0:32 ...i'm getting vibes of Shadow Naoto from P4AU. ;-;
Wow, 54 mins!
That one was hard!
That's nothing. I got stuck on that combo for a couple hours lol
What does byakuya say during his recka super. This has been killing me for weeks 😂

RekiWylls so it's just a random onomatopoeia used to describe a sound and has a positive connotation
@@jj277360 it's like kick boxers in fighting games who make that quick sorta like a tsu sound from blowing air out in quick bursts
Sore sore sore there is no exact translation from Japanese but it’s the same thing as “here here here” or “come on come on come on”
Lol he thought you were salam
To explain your muscle memory thing i always compare learning fighting games to learning a language. the processes are so similar
Cultured Byakuya main sajam
So are the combos they give you actual Bnb's or are they shitty baby combos ?
They are actual bnbs but this game gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to combos so you can always add to them.
