Our pleasure! We are happy they still function like that. For another example, see our 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special video. ruclips.net/video/VAxZF5Ey7Nw/видео.html

These cars are so nice, it can be hard to believe the 120 was a comparatively low budget Packard, brought out to increase their sales volume dramatically in the great depression. They had a thin line to walk, making an affordable car without sullying the Packard name for the upper-end models. Happily they succeeded wildly, and the 120 kept Packard solvent for quite a few years to come.

@@classicperformance My father (1916-2002) was employed as a chauffeur in a brand new 1937 Packard 120. He helped his widow employer pick it out at Packard in Detroit and drove her down to Palm Beach in it. He always said it was a great car. We have photos of it (and him) looking very spiffy with palm trees blowing in the breeze behind it.

@@MDavidG1 that is a great story and I have driven from NC to that area of FLA (Singer Island) many times and it is quite a haul in a modern car. You might be interested in seeing our video of the '48 Packard on our channel. With the overdrive and longer and wider wheelbase, it would be a very comfortable cruiser on a long trip even more so than the 120.
