I love BEWITCHED! It wasn't just a comedy, it has messages and BEWITCHED has so many memorable characters and episodes, like this one and the very first episode. From a character standpoint, we can start with Samantha and Endora. Not only did Sam have to deal with Darrin's mortal world and its problems AND their problem with Gladys Kravitz, but with her own Mother. 🙂 Darrin took the brunt of his mother-in-law's wrath, and at times, Sam's Father..
I could watch this all day. I am the same age as Tabatha, and I grew up watching the show, always loved it and still do. Now I am a full grown up hippie.
Bob Bennett I know. When I saw That Serena's name as "Pandora Spocks" at the End Credits, it took me a long time to realize that was an "Alternative" Name. Also, David Canary was brilliant as Twins Adam/Stuart Chandler on The Soap Opera All My Children.
💟oh, david canary was the best in the dual roles! he had my heart as stuart, & i'd think to myself, "it's the same guy❕❕ how can i dislike one & LOVE the other?!"
Bob Bennett Yes you are so right! Its just a testament to Liz's talent and range as an actress! I'm a Bewitched/Liz/Dick York SUPER FAN! I literally sobbed when she died! She was and is the mom i've ALWAYS WANTED! All these years later I still do! I just love and adore her!
Wow! Thanx for sharing! This was a favorite Bewitched episode, and a favorite song. I had the 45, but it's long lost now. Thanx, gentlemen, and lady, for the magic, music and memories.
I discovered them later in life but fell hard. I was young when Bewitched was on but just a bit so i was big on reruns. Did you know this episode was the #1 episode for Bewitched? You dont see it often in the reruns but I was saw it and its been on my DVR forever. Its on the Bewitched DVD as well of course. I play it so often and loud my kids would say “shes doing it again”. Then there other songs and with Dolenz and Jones. Love them both and both have great talent but I fell hard for Bobby Hart.
WENT TO SCHOOL WITH TOMMY FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLAND PARK CALIFORNIA! HE USED TO COME OVER AND PLAY THE PIANO...& SING. HIS DAD WOULD COME W..SOMETIME, HE WAS AN AMAZING MAN AND TALENTED. AFTER WE GOT OLDER ALL OF US WENT DIFFERENT WAY'S. ONE DAY I LOOKED ON GOOGLE TO SEE IF I COULD FIND MY FRIEND? WHAT I FOUND WAS HORRIBLE I I'M STILL IN SHOCK! HE KILLED HIMSELF IN HIS HOME ALONE WITH A GUN??? R.I.P. I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU TOMMY.
Back from the cosmos to your planet; your careers just as bright as you began it. Forget where you were & what you did, to keep my cousin from flipping her lid
I discovered them later in life. I loved Bewitched and still watch it but this #1 Bewitched episode is not played often. When I discovered this and instantly fell in love with Hart the episode is on my dvr and I bought a 45 record with this song. When I play it at home (oh it gets cranked) one of my 4 boys would say “shes at it again” just play it over and over while cooking or doing housework. LOVE them and this song. Crush on Bobby Hart. Lets not forget they were also on an episode of I Dream of Jeanie.
My three favorite relatives of Samantha's I like are Endora Aunt Clara and Serena. Serena was the most fun Aunt Clara was the most caring and loving and Endora was the most surprising.
It was also popular with the LGBT Community because they knew what it was like hiding who you "really" where and so many of them were Gay. Agnes Moorehead, Paul Lynde and Dick Sargeant (Darrin #2) who would die of Cancer. They also did the theme for Days Of Our Lives.
~R.I.P. Tommy Boyce & Elizabeth Montgomery, and DO love the original 45 of this by Boyce & Hart, "Serena" singing it not so much though. Cheers, DAVEDJ ~
Boyce and Hart also appeared on Sally Field's "The Flying Nun"......have never seen it. I watched the original airing of this episode in February of 1970.
Samantha could have let them sing it again. She was pushing the impatience button a little too hard on Serena. What’s another 2 minutes of singing? C’mon!
Boyce & Hart were the main backing musicians for the Monkees before the Monkees played on their own songs. They had some mammoth hits in their own right.
Boyce and Hart also wrote some songs for The Monkees. When The Monkees split, for a while Davey and Mickey recorded, and traveled as well, I think, with Tommy (Boyce) and Bobby (Hart), as Dolenz, Jones, Boyce & Hart, which is also the album title. (edit bc my stupidphone can't spell properly)
This episode, SERENA STOPS THE SHOW, is one of the best. It was fun and we got/get to see some really talented people. I love the ending to this scene where Sam strongly tells Serena to send Boyce and Hart back to Earth and make it so they don't remember what happened, and make them popular again. She says, "...before I get mad." If Sam isn't mad here. I'd hate to see her when she really is mad. 😀 Just an observation, but those look like wireless mice.
The music is a drag but the long purple leather fringed vest looks very cool in fact it looks like what the women in Dallas-Fort Worth we're frequently
One of the best Bewitched episodes ever.
I dream Jeanne episode had alot better song of that group
OMG I was 4 years old when this episode came out!!! Wow... 58 years later and still watching it!!! I love it!
I love BEWITCHED! It wasn't just a comedy, it has messages and BEWITCHED has so many memorable characters and episodes, like this one and the very first episode.

Me too....groovy IS groovy✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼🎉🎉🕊🕊💕🇺🇸🙏🏼❤
In 1995, Quentin Tarantino believed this moment to be the single-greatest moment in television, and wound up singing this in his monologue on SNL.
If I'm not mistaken, Tarantino was talking about when Sabrina was singing it. That was the night he sang it on Jay Leno.
This song is cool even if douches like tarrentino dig it
Serena@@Nacho-Mamma
The man is an idiot.
I could watch this all day. I am the same age as Tabatha, and I grew up watching the show, always loved it and still do. Now I am a full grown up hippie.
Elizaabeth Montgomery was underrated
Dick York was underrated.
Most assuredly!
So were Barbara Eden and Sally Field.
This is my favorite Bewitched episode Elizabeth Montgomery was fabulous rest in peace
The song from that music group on I dream of Jeanne episode was alot better
Liz did such a good job doing duel characters that sometimes it was hard to believe that it was the same actress.
Bob Bennett I know. When I saw That Serena's name as "Pandora Spocks" at the End Credits, it took me a long time to realize that was an "Alternative" Name. Also, David Canary was brilliant as Twins Adam/Stuart Chandler on The Soap Opera All My Children.

peacock blue
I had a thing for Stuart as well.
How did she come with the pseudonym of Pandora Spocks? Was it her or her producer ex-husband William Asher who was also working on the show?
They were under rated
I like how Boyce and Hart were on both Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie--show that were in direct competition with each other.
❤️ the song of I dream of Jeanne episode alot better
So sad that Tommy Boyce committed suicide. Thatks for all the great tunes. R.I.P.
He did, but he was terminally ill.
I read brain aneurysm
Loved Bewitched, loved Elizabeth Montgomery, loved Boyce and Hart and loved this song ,
she never got the acolades movie actresses got but she was as good as any better than most
Absolutely...!
Witches sure do know how to get mortals to do their bidding, don't they? 😁 Super-cool music here that I just LOVE listening to over and over again ☺
This was a great episode ❗ Gotta love ❤ Serena ❗
Wow! Thanx for sharing!
This was a favorite Bewitched episode, and a favorite song.
I had the 45, but it's long lost now.

Awesome duo ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Loads of fun. Good memories.
I've always loved this!!!
love it ....and I agree that this version was a lot better than the recorded release with the faded out ending....those faded out endings rarely work!
Liz forever
fantastic ! with laugh track intact thank god.
Groovy!
So funny. I'm watching this episode RN!!!😅 on LOGO TV😂
Redd Kross rocks this song.
My favorite also. Espwhen Sarina sang it for Samantha!! She was hot.
They also did the theme for Days Of Our Lives
Groovy, Baby, Groovy!!😀
Love it!!!
Back from the cosmos to your planet; your careers just as bright as you began it. Forget where you were & what you did, to keep my cousin from flipping her lid
she convincingly play 2 parts her and serena and we believed it
I was such a naive kid I actually thought they really were two separate people.
I discovered them later in life. I loved Bewitched and still watch it but this #1 Bewitched episode is not played often. When I discovered this and instantly fell in love with Hart the episode is on my dvr and I bought a 45 record with this song. Dawn Kane they were so cute!
Those were groovy times to be a kid
My three favorite relatives of Samantha's I like are Endora Aunt Clara and Serena. Serena was the most fun Aunt Clara was the most caring and loving and Endora was the most surprising.
ich liiiiiiiiiiebe die Serie und den Song 🥰
mich auch
This performance was much punchier than their 45 of the song.
Sweet !
Oh those howling hippies.
Der Song ist so cool
Awesome!
Groovy.
wrecking crew goodness here.
And nobody had a problem accepting them. It’s the in-your-face, overly aggressive activist attitude of today that no one likes.
nicesongdiana
many times on wichtes series
They played on I Dream of Jeannie too
Oh yes
Serena was a better dancer than Samantha. What am I saying? Same person
Yeah, right! Next you're gonna tell me that the Easter Bunny & Sta Claus are the same. Silly! XD
serena was a single party gal--she had to have better moves than Samantha who was married.
Credit to Elizabeth Montgomery....that's great acting!
Oh, I knew it was the same person. A friend told me one time that Serena was better dancer than Samantha. Had to tell him it was same person
Love this episode. 😁😁🎼🎼🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵
Unitarian universalist society of Burlington choir
Love Serena
So 60s
And so groovy
Serena sang this song better than they did!
I agree...
Well she did 'write' ✍ 🎶 it 😘 LOL❗
I like the way the character of Serena developed over the years
Pandora Spocks did a great job as Serena
She sure did
After Eep Aap Ork Ah-Ah, of course!
check out Redd Kross' awesome cover of the song. They make it better!

~R.I.P. Tommy Boyce & Elizabeth Montgomery, and DO love the original 45 of this by Boyce & Hart, "Serena" singing it not so much though. Cheers, DAVEDJ ~
and Dick York and Dick Sargent and Marion Lorne and Agnes Moorehead
Boyce and Hart also appeared on Sally Field's "The Flying Nun"......have never seen it. I watched the original airing of this episode in February of 1970.
I'm thinking the original title was half as long.
Dancing comes from the hips, gentlemen, not the arms....
gigadeegig💘
That short short dress though....
Yummy!
Serena's version is better!! Ha ha!
Steadmond Smith ,i agree with you 👍
I agree too.
@Brett Crawford: to hell with THEM! Serena blows them both outta da water! XD
I dream of Jeanne episode has a better song
1969?
i dont know what those red "trousers" are made of, im pretty sure there was no spandex in 1969 and 1969 polyester did not look like that.
Who cares about Boyce & Hart. Serena (Elizabeth Montgomery) is the best version.
HAVE SOME FUN.
I THINK I MIGHT DO THE SAME SPELL !
😎
omg the outfits well Tommy Boyce loses the belt and fringe vest that would be a classic look but Bobby Hart those colors don't even go together
I miss all the far out clothes of the 60s especially my elephant/ liberty bellbottoms.
I had sage green bell bottoms and made myself a string vest. But when I made a mini skirt my Dad would not let me go out. Tame by others hahaha
why did he kill himself?
Great song, but Redd Kross improved it.
I love this song but Eli as a Beth Montgomery does it better looking for this forver
Bill Hallock 4
Serena did this song best.
Samantha could have let them sing it again. She was pushing the impatience button a little too hard on Serena. What’s another 2 minutes of singing? C’mon!
Not their greatest moment
What a crappy song. It’s not even good enough for The Brady Kids.
Bullshit ! It's fabulous
You must be tone deaf. It’s a-lot better than any of the garbage the Brady’s ever (attempted) to sing.
Boyce & Hart were the main backing musicians for the Monkees before the Monkees played on their own songs. They had some mammoth hits in their own right.
Cool!!! Thx!
Boyce and Hart also wrote some songs for The Monkees.

To heck with Samantha and Serena it's just so rare to have video of boyce hart performance specially kiss in the wind
Love this one, too, Rocco!
Love this!!
Augh! Joyful to,watch, but I aches my heart to see Davy, Tommy and Keith so alive and well here. ❤❤❤
I was a child when this show aired. Even though I was so young, I would wonder why Samantha even needed Darian. I thought he was ridiculous!
For those interested in seeing more Boyce & Hart, check out ruclips.net/video/RW7NDdq5Es4/видео.html.
