    That’s the world we live in. If we believe in ourselves we get hate. If we show emotion we get hate. You can’t win, even when you win. And when you lose it’s even worse. Keep it moving.

    The biggest takeaway from all of this is how big women's sports have become. I've been playing and watching volleyball for a long time and the game has changed so much. Players have gotten so strong mentally and physically at such a young age. Even though, one team had to lose today, but together they have accomplished so much for women's sports. Both teams should be proud!

      What she has to understand is, the people who posts online social media are just keyboard warriors. They aren’t involved in her life. She can’t let it get to her. It’s just a part of adulting. Also a bit of humility isn’t bad. You can be confident with some grace.

      Harper said what she said and it's her right. People are going to respond the way they responded and it's their right. If you're going to dish it out, you better be able to take it. It's a part of growing up. It's something you learn that they don't teach you in the classroom. There's a different tone between saying, "we're going to win the next 3 championships" and "we're going to take today's loss, learn from it and turn it into 3 national championships." If she had said what I put in here, people would respond differently and all of you know it.

    I will always feel sorry for Harper because she was set up. She was just a freshman, new blood. Yeah she probably has done a conference before but this was a major loss that took over her. The press did this on purpose to get a reaction since she was new to this. They even tried to do this with Ella Swindle by quoting what Harper said. Definitely messy people in the press.

    • @MyaEntertainment
      @MyaEntertainment Месяц назад

      She didnt need to be there. She def was asked, but not forced. Just like this recent finals. Louisville only had the coach of course and the 2 players Maldonado Diaz and the freshman Cabello for the media, after the loss.
      But yes, i do agree that the media ask very stupid questions and want dramas between players and universities. But that’s how the new media works these days. We all can just shake our heads at times with all the unnecessary insensitive questioning and comments.

      Agree, NEB deserves that #1 because they have a tougher schedule like it’s true. Put PITT vs NEB again and NEB will win again no doubt. I think NEB is humble when they are #1 while PITT is like even disliking their own teammates when you lose a game

    The biggest difference was TX had TWO Olympians in Skinner and O’Neal- duh! Big Red had two true freshman starters. They’re kids. Hats off to TX.I hated the reporters baiting that poor kid Harper. She is a STUD leave her alone please we LOVE Harper. And- who set the WORLD RECORD for a women’s sporting event?? GBR- EDIT- thanks fact checkers my apologies. They were on the USA roster for the VNL- my bad. But they practiced with and played against Olympians all the same. And they played a lot in that VNL. So, yeah I was wrong. VNL, not Olympians. IMO Skinner and O’Neal cooked GBR largely bcuz of their being on the USA VNL Team.

      For the record Texas had 0 Olympians on the Championship team. O’Neal played the previous summer with Team USA but did not make the Olympic team. Madison’s sister Avery Skinner was an Olympian, not Madi.
      That said, Nebraska was and is a good team. We look forward to continued battles.
      The comments made to Harper are truly sick. No one should ever have to endure that type of foolishness. So hate that for her.
