a question on Le Neves testimony, as she stated they sample both sides of glove at once, rather than isolating the sample to palm and back of hand? is it possible the gloves only had GSR on the palm which would possibly indicate that only contact from touching fired weapon/ammo, as oppose to there being no trace on the back of the glove would suggest a gun wasnt actually fired wearing them? i find it a bit odd they done isolate each side of the glove for this reason? surely the defence could take this angle?
He's pointing out that gun shot residue being on his gloves doesn't mean he fired a weapon, nor does it mean the residue is from a recent firing of a weapon, it could be from a time when touched a surface that had touched a fired magazine years ago.
@@CTSkydives Except that the residue was found on the fingers of the man's gloves which means the person wasn't dressed in the conventional sense to fire a weapon for sport.

From what I've seen of this case, probably 5 hrs of testimony and much of the interrogation, there was reasonable doubt. But apparently I'm of a more "reasonable" bent than the average juror that assumes that if the person is arrested, they probably did it. Many many convictions I see do not eliminate reasonable doubt and that shows me that the average juror either purposely doesn't follow the jury instructions or they are too dumb to realize they aren't. I smh at all the convictions, so many innocent ppl are being put away. I must say the interrogation looked very bad for him, but I wouldn't convict someone for looking guilty. Guess that's just me though...
The interrogation doesn't matter in this case. There was no gunpowder residue on any of the dead bodys hands the bullets didn't match the casings so someone planted them there. There is no other reasonable explanation other than Grant did it. He is the only person who could do it .
@@Lightwarrior22 People seem to think that "reasonable doubt" means someone is only guilty if they're caught in the act. The reason we study criminology and crime statistics is because patterns of behaviors and deductive reasoning are vital. Sure, there are innocent people in prison. That's horrible... But there are also a lot of guilty people walking around free. That's also horrible. And our justice system relies on tax dollars. That means investigators are pressured to find a suspect FAST rather than chasing down every small possibility. Because of that, there is almost always room for doubt. A jury is supposed to look at the facts, listen to experts, and make a decision. If it was just "reasonable doubt means innocent" we'd just punch in the evidence and argument into a computer and let it give us a verdict.
