I bought a bottle of batch 78 for $85 in New Hampshire. I’m really enjoying it despite reading all the negative comments about how scotch, in general, and this one in particular is not as good as it was (fill in the blank) years ago. It is young tasting but if you let it sit in the glass for a half hour, 45 minutes, add a couple drops of water, it’s a great ride. Tons of flavors and complexity. Thank you for the unbiased review. Cheers!
I’m surprised you enjoyed the neck pour as much as you did. I thought I made a huge purchasing mistake at the neck pour. However, OMG it opened up to something quite spectacular….. sticky toffee pudding in a glass.
Great review Jesse, with some fantastic notes. Don't think I have tried this one at all yet and following the price jumping each year think will always be beyond me. Cheers to the next one!
I can’t stand where prices are going on whisky. The more it turns into an aspirational purchase, the less people are going to be willing to share it around.

Another one to add to the playlist...this channel is hard on my pocketbook!
This one is kinda pricy, too.

It's been a LONG time since I tried an A'Bunadh. In fact i reviewed batch 48!
It's become quite expensive of late so I've been priced out
Pricing is just getting stupid. It’s whisky, not Soylent green, fer gossakes!
Uhm. That was me replying from the wrong account…
It has been ages since I've brought a bottle home. Thanks for sharing your first thoughts, like Al said, I imagine it will evolve a bit yet. Cheers!
It already has, and it’s just getting better. Second review will definitely get a higher mark.
Sigh. I replied from the wrong account. Sorry about that.
@@dribsanddrams I often make comments from my other accounts too. NP. Cheers!

Oops. That was me replying from the wrong account. Sorry…
I've only ever a sample - and enjoyed it very much. I reckon a bottle would open up very nicely in due course and be one to savour. Cheers.
It's already starting to open up a little. I think I *might* have to get another once it's gone.
@@dribsanddrams Mighty. I look forward to your full review. Cheers and have a great week.
You too
Well, this definitely sounds like a whisky worthy of a try.
It really is. It's delish.
So for someone like me to drink it on the rocks wouldn't be so bad LOL!
You could do that, yeah...
Hey Jes; is the bottle worth a second purchase or a gifting? Regardless, great content as always and hope to see more. Thanks!
Definitely worth a second purchase!
Whoops, wrong account!

Have you tried the Alba? I prefer the one in your review, but the Alba is still a great dram.
Haven't tried the Alba yet. It's a real bump up in price around here.
@@dribsanddrams $105 available at the SAQ in the next 2 weeks. Decent for a cask stregth.
