- The NYC Portion of Amtrak Acela Train 2155 from Pelham Bay Park, Bronx to the East River Tunnels via the Hell Gate Bridge. I would have recorded the part of the train pulling into Manhattan's Penn Station, but I had to grab my luggage and belongings to exit the train.

This is ASMR material. Just so relaxing. Wish it was much longer. Thank u, AK!
For some reason I would enjoy train rides like this
I didn't bring my suction cup mount or I would have recorded longer!
Actionkid! We cannot keep up with you! You are 24/7.
Nice scenery as the Action Kid returns briefly to the Big 🍎 before resuming his US tour.
Love the train very relaxing and very enjoyable very pretty stsy safe stay well keep warm ❄❄❄💙💙💙💙
Very beautiful and relaxing train ride video!
Really enjoyed the video love your channel
Welcome back to NY. Great video! Always enjoy watching your videos. 👍👍👍👍👍
Good Afternoon from Los Angeles. I also took Acela from Penn Station to Boston South Station last year and saw the Manhattan skyline behind the George Washington bridge. It was one hell of a ride.
So glad I suggested this to you! Great video! I love riding the train & looking outside. Never taken the ACELA though b/c I live in NC. But hopefully one day when I get up to NYC I can take it to Boston on an adventure for a few days. I watch a lot of train videos also. The movement of the train & looking out the window always puts me to sleep lol! Thanks for this 😁🥰
Absolutley love the walk thank you I really appreciate your walks and keep warm
I love the Amtrak Boston - New York run; particularly on Acela. Much cheaper than flying, and puts you in the center of both cities so you don't have to pay additional taxi/limo fares from the airports. I just wish Amtrak's Northeast Corridor would modify its rails to accommodate "real" high speed trains, like the high speed train run between Taipei and Kaoshiung, Taiwan; something way overdue on this popular Northeast corridor.
Stunning views
Great video! Great, unique view of part of the city! Keep up the great work!
I’ve taken Amtrak from Newark to Washington DC , love it 😍
Russian chattering in background and snow makes me feel like this train goes straight to Siberia, comrade
Great video!
товарищ)
Exactly!!
Definitely feel like in Russia
I was really hoping that you would do this so thank you very much..
Fantastic Ken !
Fantastic! I really like your video. I enjoyed watching it until the end. Thank you for sharing my friend😄👍💕
I see Amtrak trains as I wait at the mall on 117th Street in Manhattan (at the 9:15 mark) to go to the Costco . I have taken Amtrak in the past up to Toronto . That train runs on the west side of Manhattan by the Hudson River. Very Nice 👍👍👍👍👍🚄🚄🚄🚄🚄.
Johnny T002 thank you. I did not realize you can take the Amtrak train from Toronto to NYC. Next time I visit NYC, I will check it out!👍👍
@@rosaannarilli4905 Yes it's The Amtrak Maple Leaf But it's not running right now due to COVID and a closed border. 😪😪 Just Checking Amtrak site you can still get up to Niagara Falls, NY by Amtrak.
@@JohnnyT002Thank you! Hopefully I can go to NYC in September 2022!!🚇🚊
Excellent video Actionkid 👍
Very nice. Thank you!
Brilliant, love it, it would be amazing if you could be up front like some of the trains are in Japan & you can sit just behind the driver.
All the best Ken🌟😎🙂🖐👍✌🗽🗽
So quiet. And the snow. I want to be there.
Beautiful travel .train 🚅 wonderful .I see NY other perspectiv . 👌Greetings AK.
I take the train from NYC to Boston and from Boston to Washington. Wonderful I love it. Thanks AK and happy day from Argentina. 🇦🇷🙋♀️🚉
Hope you had a nice vacation, Super Action Kid..😇
Nice video thank you

Thanks My Friend ❤🧡💛💚💙
Nice video Kenneth!
happy new year ActionKid
Good morning from Washington DC. Stay safe warm AK.
Northeast DC👏🏾
nice job mate!!!!
ActionKid I need more Boston
Welcome back.
My next Amtrak trip isn’t until April. Great video.
💯@AK always smash that like button 💕xoxo🤗💫
Great work 👏, keep it up , stay warm.
The dude on the background opens all his sport betting secrets, what a legend
🤣🤣🤣
Wow! What an amazing ride!
Have a safe journey
I've always heard of Amtrak but never rode it. I'd like to take this to a different state one day.
Definitely worth taking!
3:28 - 3:30/ Sadly, those modern duplex houses at the end of Paulding Avenue were just in the news due to a gas explosion. The families in the houses were able to escape despite some injuries. My heart and prayers go to those who were affected. 🇵🇷🇺🇸🗽🦂
This reminds me of the opening scene for the movie 'Valley of the Dolls'
I'm taking the Amtrak from Worcester to Boston on Thursday!!!
Why wouldn’t you take mbta? Just wondering 😂
Me too
9:25 Yeah, sad to see even a car could go faster than an Acela.
Well it is going at a slower speed because of the Hell Gate bridge.
@@christherailfan5851 Yeah, I think that was the case.
Hi AK, it'll be cool if you did a shorter cut of this one, say from where you change sides of the train and show the ride from there, could post that on ActionKid Extra, nice effort on this one.
3:09 Bronx near Morris park
Was the Home Depot and BJs in Queens or in Manhattan?
Queens
Heyy ActionKid, big fan! Are you gonna have a documentary type soon? Like Matt Green?
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Wow
Nice views but its making me sleepy..zzzz
ActionKid, how long did the whole train ride take?
It’s a 3 1/2hr train ride, so slower than if you drove
@@kingofallman4380 thank you!👍
Much more comfortable than driving with no traffic. Also, you can go from the heart of one big city to another. Very convenient if you do not have a car like many here in NYC!
@@larrycj4382 nicer and much faster to just drive!!!
Your Back How Was Boston Action Kid
I understand why your making rules about meeting people. I saw the video the guy kissing you not nice at all with no apologies.
I wish I can be in NYC and smell the air within those
streets, because I hear that it really smells bad, AK. 🤢
That just nyc for u its because all the trash is in the front of the buildings lol
@@lidsboy4586 Yeah, mainly the trash and also the general lack of greenery in NYC to absorb automobile exhaust and other gases from the industrial zone of the Meadowlands area of New Jersey.

You should sit in the Quiet Car next time. That man's voice is soooo annoying!
Reserved seats with my ticket
Great video. If you are looking for future travel ideas check out the Youtuuba channel. He has done some Amtrak travel videos. You could get a roomette and film the train trips you take to get to different walking destinations. Of course, when you want to change up the NYC walking videos. The Boston series was great! Thank you for your great content.
Doesn’t make sense why is Amtrak wasting electricity and time by making u turn in queens instead of directly head to manhattan Harlem line. Ken was like man stop in Astoria let me off lol btw the video popped up of Th is weirdo kissing ken’s hair as a stunt yo action kid is too nice I would have punched him
Acela! The world's slowest high speed train
Thanks for nothing Reaganboomers
Additional land to construct true high speed tracks was not available when Acela was given the green light years ago. As a result, Acela shares tracks with other Amtrak trains and regional lines. This results in slower speeds at times, averaging about 60 mph or less. It also goes slower when in NYC. The Acela does reach top speeds of 80 mph out of NY periodically, but this is far beneath the truly high speed of International high speed rail trains around the world. Amtrak has been working on increasing the speed of Acela by replacing old tracks, which as you can imagine, will take a long time. I do prefer the Acela to their regional trains.
Amtrak does a heroic job given the slow death gulag diet they are fed as a pawn of partisan politics over the decades.
The tracks are less of an issue than the sagging in hot weather 11KV catenary, and the century old bridges.
@@interstellarphred While the track improvements have been promoted by Amtrak, yes, it is their overall infrastructure that needs modernization.
The section near Darian with the cars zooming past on I95 is not really great advertising. I recall the old Penn Central at least keeping up, and the Turbo used to do 90MPH in this stretch , unfettered by the loose wire slow orders.
