this is probably a recording he did while composing the song. Quite beautiful though

Does anyone know what picking pattern/chords he’s playing? It sounds beautiful but I don’t have a good enough ear to quite sound it out

It's just alternate picking on the E and G strings. Should be able to find the notes by listening.

@@jasd_6 I guess your reading comprehension skills are almost as bad as my ear is at picking out notes!
Just kidding. Yea I was able to figure it out. It was just hard because he has three different versions of the song and plays in a different key for each one.
also, during the chorus or whatever that part is called he adds in the B string as well, I think.

Hey, man, this is a great lesson on how to play this version and the album version too, with tabs and stuff: ruclips.net/video/MBkQhSKc3-M/видео.html

@noeskicker can you drop the tab or the notes

@@bobbob3104 Hes playing bar chords but only picking the low E string and the G string. The chord progression looks like F#m - G#m (briefly) - A - B (briefly) - E - B for the beginning and then when he starts singing he just does F#m - A - E - B. He was just making the intro more spicey. If you learn those chords thats all the song is just in different orders depending on the part of the song.
Edit: I could be wrong about some of this so don't quote me on it. Also check out this version ruclips.net/video/uK_8QqlaDqg/видео.html
